The Black uni conversation is silly and overrated. I hope we use our helmets and shoulder pads instead

 

Helmets and shoulder pads are pretty much all the protective equipment left these days. Only a matter of time til CFB players start wearing volleyball shorts. Yay?

 

I think we should be concerned with blocking and tackling and making our normal uniforms not embarrassing.

I suspect the current players will want to have fond memories of winning the game and don't give a crap what they wear. I expect the recruits to be underage kids, who don't care what I think, and vice versa.

 

I don’t think it has to do with sponsorship. I believe Napier started this at Louisiana

I like the alternate uniforms especially when they stick with our common color schemes. Every other team on campus has a black uni so why not football. I’m down for any uni combo that keeps the script helmet. The players and recruits definitely like them and it seems like most of the fan base is down for it.

 

Just as long as we don't wear those swamp green, or single orange shoulder pad abominations again.

 

Careful yall. I was warned because of my comment on uniform color. Guess the fashion police are serious.

But prefer our classic unis for our team..was told the players and recruits like/want the black unis

 

I would love to hear an honest reason for this weekends scheduling. Maybe the noon games gets better ratings?
