Other options for the 3:30 slot are Georgia vs Ole Miss (most likely) or Missouri vs Tennessee.
If GA beat Missouri neither TN or MO will be in contention for anything so that might be the 7:30 SEC game, with UF vs LSU the 7 pm ESPN.

 

If Missouri somehow beats UGA on Saturday, then TN vs MO will likely be the 3:30 game. I really can't see a scenario where we are the 3:30 game, unless LSU beats Bama, and A&M beats Ole Miss.

 

Of course it'll be at night.

I've always thought Death Valley at night is the worst place to play in the country.

 

Damn, if it's at night and considering we are their Super Bowl we might be in trouble, otherwise we got this.

Last UF-LSU game CBS will telecast...I go with CBS.

 

To be the CBS 3:30 game, LSU beats Bama in Tuscaloosa, becoming the favorite to win the west and Daniels becomes the SEC's darling for the Heisman.

It's a 7:00 pm game-time start... if the SEC really wants to screw the Gators.

 

I’ve been there 5 times at night, all Gator wins. That said, we don’t got this.

 

Definitely a night game, CBS is done with us.

 

Only scenario I can dream up where our game might go to CBS is:

1) LSU beats Bama, 2) Ole Miss loses to aTm, and 3) UGA beats Mizzou. The first two game are necessary for LSU to take over first place in the SEC West to elevate importance of our game. UGA needs to beat Mizzou otherwise Mizzou/UT involves the two teams in the SEC East that control their destiny. And even in that scenario, they probably still decide Ole Miss @ UGA is the better game since UGA is #1, but I'd be hoping the Ole Miss loss takes enough luster off of the matchup.

I'm not considering any scenarios where UT loses to UConn this week. UConn is just really bad.

 

They hate us soooo much more than we hate them. I didn't even think of that game as a rivalry until I actually went to a game in Baton Rouge and saw the vitriol first-hand. Then again, I think lsu hates everybody, including themselves. Craziest fanbase in America.

 

Bama is their Super Bowl. They hate us but we are a distant 2nd to Bama.

 

Been there 5 times as well. 89, 91, 01, 03, and 07. Only loss was 07 and Ole Les had to put his hand way, way up his ass to pull that one out. Get into NO Thursday night or Friday morning and drive to Red Stick on Saturday morning.

I’ve been to every SEC location except Mizou, Starkville, and Athens( our daughter was born the week before). LSU doesn’t hate us anymore than any of the others. They hate everyone the same. That said, I have never been given as much free food and booze at any road game as I usually get in Baton Rouge. Park and tailgate over by one of their reserved lots and you will have a great time. Avoid their students and younger fans, and just drive back to NO after the game and go out there.

 

Particularly after Bama stole Saban.

 

Saban being the coach probably adds to it but 1/9/12 is a date that will live in infamy for the lsu faithful. That was the rematch with Bama for all the marbles and lsu came out on the losing end. That took their hate to a whole different level.
