    Way over simplified.
Tim's grade wasn't first round. You can have all the intangibles in the world, be a great college QB and still not have a High draft grade. Denver took a chance on Tim and was heavily criticized because no one was picking him early.

In any event you're trying to compare one example with a questionable grade against several Georgia examples.

Even second rd is a no brainer. Getting beat up in college and shortening a career is not good advice for anyone going in the first three rounds. The only exception would be gettin to the first round to get tgat big guaranteed money. Other than that, work toward tgat pension.

There was a look of talk behind Denver that Minnesota was taking Timmy with their first round selection. As soon Tebow was off the board, Minnesota traded out of the first round.

I guess Lagway won’t be at the Cocktail Party today. His game against The Woodlands got postponed again to Saturday at 1pm.

Was the woodlands the tougher opponent for Lagway’s team? I thought I read he had a big time team coming up.. f so maybe this will put to bed the “He doesn’t play tough comp so his stats are illegitimate” complaints.

In Texas (in this region, anyway, which is where both Willis and Woodlands are), the various school districts each have their own stadium that is home to the teams in their district. Multiple games are played there each week, often back-to-back. They’re much nicer—and bigger—than any one high school’s stadium would be.

Wow, I didn't know that...and I live in Texas! Neat idea...alleviates the burden on lots of small schools to maintain nice stadiums, etc.

247 has him at #2, Rivals as the #1 dual-threat QB and On3 ranks him at #2 QB.

I don't care what he's ranked. The kid is a winner, man. Seems to have that Tebow-esque drive. So refreshing in a post NIL/"me first" world. I'm not sure I've been this excited about a recruit since Timmy.

Seems similarly driven. The one attribute which remains to be seen is how Tebow would lose his mind every so often and deliver pain. Perhaps Lagway is more controlled and methodical in personality.

Hate that it caused him harm but he who deletes is better for it.

Social media is a toxic sea with rip currents. Better to stand on dry land.
