This play resulted in Shilo Sanders being ejected for targeting. I cannot decide whether it was a good or marginal call.
I'm not going list networks for you, but I will say you are wrong, because you have a narrative, as always.
Helmet into the facemask, justified ejection. Posing in front of the ref throwing the flag probably didn't help.
The receivers headgear lifted from helmet to helmet contact. I think that is what distinguished it from just being a tremendous hit on an unprepared ball carrier. The bull crap all about me taunting afterwards was enough for ejection in my book and might have ensured that the call went that way.
Shilo led with his shoulder but launched upwards. Once you launch yourself upwards like that against a defenseless receiver, you're asking for trouble. The pose after the hit certainly didn't help either.
I don't get why people do not understand how Colorado became a media darling. They are for good reason. Prime is famous. He took over a team and did something never seen before.... a nearly complete personnel turnover. His son is the QB, he has a superstar 2 way player. Then he beat a team that surprised everyone. OF COURSE, he and Colorado were on everyone's mind. It was the biggest story in college football for good reason. The fact that most Gator fans hate him does not make it untrue. Most of us are tired of hearing about a guy we dislike so much being a media darling. But that doesn't mean he didn't earn it.
Funny because a few weeks ago a Colorado State player blasted a defenseless Colorado receiver and didn’t get an ejection
Oh yes it is. I replied to your post where you called a poster "jealous" because he was sick of all the attention heaped on Coach Jive and his team. Then when I said he wasn't "jealous" but just sick of all the media attention heaped on Colorado, you said "what media attention". And then called me a liar.
A team that is 4-4, and 2-3 in conference. TCU is nowhere the team they were last year. Why? Because he is Deion? He is and always has been a showboat.
1. At the time they lost,TCU was favored. 2. Yeah an ass, but a rare 2 sport professional star and collegiate All American. He has won at every stop...an American story. I dislike him, but you are so angry you can't see straight. I feel bad for you.
Ummm, that was the first sell out of the Rose Bowl for a regular season game in like 14 years so it’s still on. A lot were JUST “Prime” fans.
It's only tempered down because Deion had a historically bad loss to Stanford and people came back to reality. The Speak show on Fox already said Deion has already exceeded expectations this year. He doesn't need to do anymore. Jason Taylor's Sister is Deion worship at its finest in this clip.
I don't understand this as an example of a media frenzy. How is that a media frenzy if fans of Deion bought tickets? lol
So... do you scrub every sports show to see what they say about every coach? I'm sure you'd find media opinions about them that you disagree with.
