We lost to the number 1 team in the country that has not lost a game in 2 seasons. Expected to lose. Now we have to beat a team we should beat in Arkansas next week. We need to win on the road at least once versus LSU and Missouri. Then we need to hope the UF loud home crowd can help beat FSU with an unflappable Senior experienced starting QB.

Awesome. Again trying to give context as to time spent, background knowledge, etc.
1:1 was polite, and an overall great dude. Kinda guy you root for. Still ok to be intense and urgent 24/7. Ultimately will translate to players- really not debatable.

It wasn’t just Gator ineptness. Their defender got in there fast and blew up the play. It was their biggest play on defense all day, and appropriate for play of the game. No hate needed.

Please. When the officiating is so bad it hits damned near every sports journalist in the nation, you'll know it is bad. The Swindle had no fewer than six game-changing calls, all against Florida. The Gators beat them badly on the field. I believe that play reviews were an indirect result of that game. The game against Tennessee the following year was equally egregious, as the official (Bobby Moreau) watched the entire interaction between Dallas Baker and the Tennessee defender, yet called the PF call on Baker. Even the replay showed Moreau staring at the entire play. That gave Florida a 15 yard penalty and a forced punt, where Tennessee fielded the punt and after a play, gave the kicker a chance to hit a 50-yard field goal, which he made. Had the call been offset, the Gators would have won, barring a miracle. Older Gators remember the head official of The Swindle, Ron Cherry, to this day.

In both games, the Gators had victory snatched from them. That bad spot wouldn't have been a difference maker today. And don't forget the non-calls that benefitted Florida as well. Passionate fans always believe it is THEIR team that gets robbed by the refs, while the other team is actively being helped by them.

Again, all the intensity in the world isn't going to work if you haven't got enough of those Jesse's and joes...
We are young..lots of 18 year old kids playing gaining experience they were playing high school ball last year at this time...

Got to stop thinking we will win every game. I know better but always think we can beat anyone.
To much difference on the Lines
Skill wise we are as good as Georgia.
Give Georgia our RBs and WRs they are still unbeaten.

Line of scrimmage problems require line of scrimmage solutions.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. Brighter days ahead if we keep recruiting well, and pick some players out of the portal for the line play.

Missed the game to help out at a dog bar/park Halloween costume and foam party. There were days when there was no way I'd miss this game but I just don't make my schedule around Gator games anymore. Some of that is just me getting older and some of it has been the mess the program has been on an off (mostly on) for many years now. I do think Napier will get the talent situation fixed and he needs his time to get all parts working but I will say this.

It's become tiresome seeing other teams consistently give better challenges to some of the same opponents multiple times now. Kentucky wasn't that good this year or last. Georgia has been in dogfights with multiple other teams not named florida even though they seem to always pull it out in the end. Just would like to see us make them sweat a little bit like some other teams have.

With that said, I don't think I've ever seen a handful of teams, Bama and Georgia in particular hoard talent the way they have been for so many years now. Gonna take some time to compete with that but at least we now seem to be playing with the same rules in recruiting.

Im not bitching about todays spot...that would be like the 15th worst call in the Swindle...Im just saying youre going to see something real special from the ACC crew this year. The ACC is teetering and that NC paycheck will matter to that conference. Its going to be real bad....I bet it rivals the Swindle and Im not even sure how that would be possible.

He could have gotten a first down just by running it. Gators thought it was a home run play. Like I've said before, it seems like UGA had seen the play and were ready for it.

Yep. I haven’t forgotten the 2019 Auburn game where the AU defender lowered his head and made forcible, helmet to helmet contact with Dameon Pierce, giving him a concussion and compromising his season. No call.
