I can't even tell what kind of defense we ran. It looked like we played too mcuh zone and we still let them get wide open. Our DBs are not as aggressive as they've been in the past. They play too far off the opposing teams receivers to be of any use. While UGA's DB were part of our receivers' uniforms... draped all over our players.
My biggest issues are pressure, we don’t get very much. We have a deep DT rotation but they don’t seem to occupy lanes or blockers. Our LBs might be athletic but they aren’t usually in the right spot. Kimber and Marshall don’t seem to care about much, definitely aren’t fans of the word consistently. On offense we just need to learn how to consistently throw intermediate routes.
Will need a Verse like portal guy with our schedule next year. We simply do not have or generate enough pressure.
The SEC must have briefed the refs because horrible, inexplicable, inexcusable, spots is becoming their schtick when their cash cows are in a game. And yeah, we can call out this BS and still say they were the better team.
Yeah..couple of posters seemed like that are being sarcastic as I know from past posts their real thoughts and they aren't as positive
And we are? Certainly seems like it. To recruit as well as we are in a rebuild bodes well don't you think?
Wait till FSU shows up in the Swamp with a NC shot on the line and ACC officials this year. If you thought the Swindle was bad its going to be worse than the original.
Beck and the Georgia offense looked better than I expected. Of course giving them a short field twice didn't help. That said, can't recall many plays from our LBers. I thought Marshall had several good plays. On offense, Montrelle ran hard and the future looks bright with Webb and Wilson.
I've had two bottles of that OF SiB barrel strength and it's excellent. Not a Knob Creek fan, but the 12yr can't suck. I've also got a JD 12 that has been one of the best whiskeys I've had.
In some ways getting linemen from the portal is better. They are at least a little more developed physically and more ready to play.
I really, really wanted to try that JD 12. I’m a Tennessee Squire, so I’m a fan of the brand and have stopped by the distillery several times looking for it to no avail.
All due respect, and I know your talking about others, that’s a solid step when rival is dominating and surely better than straight negativity.
Chatting with a whiskey rep this week. He goes, don’t laugh, take the OF 86 and 100. Mix them equally in a decanter and sit a couple weeks. Blind taste them and let me know,
Sandwiched in there was the reverse from Wilson to Pearsall...not sure why our great trick plays look like we practiced them only 3 times in practice and just rolled them out in the game. Those trick plays need to be practiced until theyre gold and then brought out...if you cant get the players to grasp it then leave it in the bag.
