The kids started hot and went up 7-0 on a great opening drive. Then held the ___ lickers to a FG and it was 7-3. After that, multiple turnovers inside the 30, one at the 10 or so, quickly resulted in the score blasting to 26-7. It kept going after that with 36 unanswered points. Florida never quit though. Final score was 43-20. Brighter days are ahead! One more thing for today: Bowl Cut failed to get his half-a-hundred . . . which he wanted badly . . . as he tried his best to match Coach Spurrier! To HELL with Georgia!
Remember the rules please. Criticize performance (missed tackle, missed block, missed catch, poor throw, etc.) within the rules and don't insult players or coaches. We win with class or lose with class.
In spite of the score, I am proud that our players kept fighting and trying, I am not embarrassed as we were under dogs for a reason...we will have brighter days coming..
Played hard, plays didn't go their way, scoring streak CONTINUEd!!! Overall not a bad day unless you had unrealistic expectations to win.
I expected this result. It is what it is. The divide is wide with respect to uga. Kirby was a home run for them. Let's see how the rest of the season goes. The team didn't quit, though.
Welp, my score prediction was pretty close. Rather than the alcohol suggested by some, I have busted open a Halloween bag of Milky Ways and I'm a diabetic. Coma > Pass Out
i picked 38-17 jawja - was not to far off- tHere is really no need for anyone to get nasty in this thread- we all knew they were a better team- you always hope for a miracle but if you all are honest you knew tHis was going to be the outcome
It's a game of momentum. We were done in by the blown 4th down call and bad spot. With 2 feet to go someone called a play to center the ball between Mertz's legs and that's that.
It's OK to care..but don't let it get to the point where losing a football game spoils your mood/day/life...
Before the game, I posted this: Over/under on the following: 1. Multiple arial views of the separation of the red/blue jersies; This was done several times. 2. Lindsey Freaking Scott; I didn't see the Dreaded Replay. Did anyone see it? 3. At least 100 complaints about biased refs robbing us of a chance; Very close. It was 97 times. 4. Three acknowledgements that a bad call was in our favor. There were 12 We simply got thumped by a more talented, more experienced, and unfortunately, better coached team. The officials didn't rob us. This wasn't The Swindle. These games happen. Even SOS got crushed by a 9-win Tennessee in 1990. I trust Billy to keep building and developing our Gators. I think he can...
