Are we allowed to talk about the new speaker on this thread about the new speaker? Another example of how far right this guy is ... off into David Barton's fictional world.

the sunday talk shows have to be building loaded questions for the republican guests.

question, how many centrist pubs would it take to have him removed? is the mccarthy rule still in effect?

perhaps those that held their nose and voted for him can no longer suffer the stench a smore comes out. they have just as much authority as the magats on the other end of the party. and maybe they could be shamed into it.

Those willing to? Like the Republicans receiving death threats from Republican supporters?

I agree with you idealistically, but you are not being realistic at all on this particular issue. There was nothing the Democrats could do to appease the MAGA Republicans, and any non-MAGA Republican would be immediately attacked and have their families threatened if they even hinted at what you are saying. You were the one stating to be realistic.

When Ken Starr began his investigation into a real estate deal Bill Clinton had not even met Monica. trump has been indicted for several crimes in state and federal courts. Be still and know Jack Smith is doing the Lord’s work.

The thing I don’t think you get is even the “moderate” republicans are generally ok with him.

Moderate Republicans don't vote on their beliefs' anymore, they vote on fear (of their own party). That is the very definition of Fascism.

Whatever bro. The only people legally convicted for lying to the courts, or pleading guilty to lying, are republican election denying lawsuit bringing Trump butt kissers. I bet if you were one of his lawyers you’d be crying in court and begging for mercy just like Jenna Ellis. People bringing lawsuits against Trump are winning, not going to jail for lying. You have to see that man?

If you believe that, you are incredibly gullible, not to mention this is a pretty backwards way of viewing the justice system. Apparently you can infer guilt based strictly on an indictment.

    *Allegedly*

The fact that Trump can have all of these dark clouds over his head and still even be competitive with Joe Biden speaks to just how terrible Democrats are right now.

If you think Trump was authoritarian:
    1. Get a mirror
    2. You don't know how bad Republicans can get if the gloves came off.

No indictment though. That's spared for his opposition. ;)

They didn't charge Mike Pence either. It's reserved for the moron who intentionally lies about not having them, tries to hide them, and then discloses classified military information to foreigners.

They have another level of hate for Trump and they feel much more threatened by Trump.

That's why this happened, not because he wasn't cooperative.

9 instances of obstruction. The tenth item they found to not be obstruction of justice because they were only misleading the public, while fully cooperating with investigators.

The DOJ should be weaponized to address death threats. If our legislature can be that easily influenced how do they ever pass laws against really bad guys like MS13? Will they vote to aporove abortion if they get threatened enough? Not buying death threat reason to give up your vote

I was referring to trump. He's indicted because he took current, much more sensitive material, lied about having it, gave up a small amount of it, hid large parts of it, lied about it, tried to get others to destroy information...biden did none of that
