This image looks like it might have been taken at a previous FL/GA game which is probably one of the few times they sellout.
Reminder, lack of parking alert, Luke Bryan is also in concert next door in the arena... • Country star Luke Bryan is at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28. Riley Green opens. $56.46-$250.
It's a nice stadium, similar to the Con, but a little older and much more shopworn. Much better and cheaper concessions. The good thing about parking is lots of football parking relatively close, but it also is a football oriented weekend. A big portion of the crowd will be Gator and dawg fans who don't really care about- or even know about- the baseball teams. One parking issue is that dawg grads are allowed to hang their UGa degrees in the back windows of their pickups so they can park in handicap spaces, so those will be full. Did you notice I said a lot of dawg fans may stumble in? One time a couple of dawgs were in the woods hunting, when one shouted, "Hey, Bubba, look! There be some deer tracks." His pal said, "No way man, those are bear tracks." Dawg #1 replied, "Really, those are deer tracks." Bubba replied, " Look, I graduated from UGa and I know bear tracks when I see them." They argued back and forth, deer tracks! bear tracks! deer tracks! bear tracks! Until about ten minutes later, they were killed by a train. A sad headline in todays paper: five dawgs headed to the game were riding in the back of a pickup, that went off a bridge. All five drowned before they could open the tailgate. Two dawgs were out hunting and had shot a deer that they were dragging back to their truck (parked in a handicap space) when they encountered another hunter. The guy said, "Why fellas, that's a beautiful deer, but I see you're dragging it by the back legs. When you do that, the nap of the deer fur is rough and will grab sticks and roots along the ground. If you drag it by the front legs, it will slide along much more smoothly." The dawgs thought that made sense and decided to give it a try. A few minutes later as they dragged the deer by its front legs, one dawg turned to the other and said, "That guy was right. This is dragging much easier... but we keep getting farter away from the truck."
