At the risk of this not ageing well.......and more for discussion.

What if we win out the rest of our schedule and then beat Bama/Ole Miss in SECCG?

No one would have more quality wins vs currently ranked teams.
    21-TENN
    1-UGA
    16-MIZZOU
    15-LSU
    4-FSU
    9-BAMA/12-MISS

    Could we make CFP?

What sort of chaos would have to happen?

No team would have more momentum at that point than the Gators (Utah maybe if they keep winning.)

I know, I know, the loss to KY probably disqualifies this dream scenario from playing out but it sure would be great to ruin UGA/MIZZOU/FSU's season and carry the momentum into next year.

    If. Then playoff time, baby!
Will probably lose à game or two though. Regardless, it's fun to speculate.

I just hope we beat Arky, but if your insane pie in the sky daydream we're to actually happen - I think we're in for sure.

We'd probably be #12 or so next week..

No, this probably won’t age well… but I’m here for it and I’m with you, my friend. What’s the point if being a fan if we can’t think big and keep the dream alive?

Absolutely. I would think even a top 2 seed. No other team’s resume would come anywhere close. But yeah, it’s hard for your mind to even think that right now.

Our team is young and still learning to play as a team but growing each game. I'm excited to see how tomorrow goes but don't have any expectations.

I could see a defending champ 1 loss UGA getting in over UF in that scenario.

Just beating Georgia would be like winning the NC at this point, and I'd be happy with that.

We might not know yet what our Gators are capable of.
    Hopefully tomorrow we will know.

    Go Gators!

If UF managed that, the SEC would not have a playoff team. 1 Pac 12, 1 Big 12, Mich and OSU from Big 10 with 1 of those 2 being the others only loss. I wouldn't even put it past the powers that be to have 2 Pac 12 if for instance Wash and Oregon each had 1 loss to each other after a CCG rematch.

Having indulged in all that, the reality is we have 1 win against a team with a winning record. I just hope we pull out 1 more win from that gauntlet + Ark win for a solid 7 win season. A bowl win to get to 8 for a successful season IMO.

We won’t finish well but if we win out with the games that would be involved, there’s no way in hell a two loss sec team isn’t still the betting favorite to win it all. Totally different schedule involved.

While I agree with you, A LOT of people would not. Especially in a year in which the SEC is perceived to be having a down year. In fact, UF being in that position would be used as further evidence to prove that narrative.

And tge sec champ would whip their ass. We didn’t belong in the same field as osu. Georgia would embarrass Oregon again as well as fsu or whoever the 12 can muster.
