'Plugged Into Machines': Vladimir Putin in 'Stable but Serious Condition' and Doctors Are 'Not Optimistic' After Alleged Heart Attack, Sources Claim (msn.com)

Vladimir Putin is believed to be in “stable but serious condition” and “plugged into machines” after he suffered an alleged heart attack over the weekend, RadarOnline.com has learned.

In a surprising development to come following months of rumors and reports about the 71-year-old Russian leader’s myriad of alleged health woes, Kremlin sources claimed that Putin suffered a “horrific” heart attack in Moscow on Sunday night.

Even more surprising were reports that Putin’s doctors are “not optimistic” about the Russian leader’s recovery.

According to the Telegram channel General SVR, which first reported on Putin’s alleged heart attack on Tuesday, the Russian despot remains “plugged into machines” inside an “intensive care ward” located at his private residence in Moscow

If the Russians don't rush out some video evidence to prove he is alive and well, it just might be true.

I will believe it when I see it. Russia mastered the art of lying through their teeth a long time ago.
Russian medical breakthrough: Balconies are now the treatment of choice for cardiac issues. fingers crossed.

Probably not as hilarious (or insecure and vain) as Russian soldiers shooting at balloons flying overhead with the Ukrainian flag on them while drones identified their positions for artillery strikes.

The French will likely send 146 armored vehicles, seized years ago when they were illegally directed towards Libya, to Ukraine. The decision is being made by Bart "Iam" Groothuis, the Dutch MEP.

European Parliament wants to supply Ukraine with almost 150 armoured vehicles confiscated by EU

Ukraine's got a new ground drone. It drives under tanks and then blows up. It's called "Ratel", which is Ukrainian for "Eat it, Putin".

Russia's worker shortage is so bad that they are starting to rely on prison labor.

Russia's worker shortage is so bad the economy is leaning on the Soviet-era practice of using prison labor, think tank says

24 Ukrainian aircraft go *poof*, zero warning, in five days. And we don’t know why.

apparently ukraine only got 20 of the medium range atacms. they seem to be focusing on establishing control of the sky and crippling counterbattery radars from their selection of targets. also read that ukranian pilots are finishing training on the swedish jet that sweden said they would provide if they were part of nato. turkey still requiring sweden to extradite some turkish opposition that erdogan has branded as terrorists.

Nine Days After Wrecking 21 Russian Helicopters, Ukraine’s M39 Missiles Are Dealing The Same Damage To Russian Air-Defenses (msn.com)

The first M39 strike, on Oct. 17, struck Russian air force bases in Luhansk and outside Berdyansk in Russian-occupied southern Ukraine. The three missiles, each scattering 950 M74 submunitions, wrecked 21 Russian helicopters. It was apparent, at the time, that the Ukrainians would save their initial consignment of 20 M39s for the best and softest targets. And that that would include long-range air-defenses. The M39 Army Tactical Missile System, or ATACMS, is a two-ton, 13-foot ballistic missile with a solid rocket motor. Fired by a tracked or wheeled launcher, the 1990s-vintage missile ranges as far as 100 miles under inertial guidance.
    ............
Air-defense batteries, their fragile radars and launchers spread out across many acres, also are prime targets. In striking those launchers in Luhansk, the Ukrainians prolong their campaign targeting the valuable S-400s, which can hit aerial targets as far away as 150 miles. In the years prior to its wider war on Ukraine, the Russian air force deployed five S-400 batteries, plus attached radars, to occupied Crimea. Other S-400s eventually staged elsewhere in and around occupied Ukraine. As Ukraine acquired more and better deep-strike weapons, it began targeting the batteries.

In less than a month starting in late August, the Ukrainian navy destroyed two of the S-400s in Crimea. Both strikes reportedly involved a land-attack version of the Ukrainian navy’s Neptune ground-launched anti-ship cruise missile.

The Neptunes surely are in short supply, which might explain why the Ukrainians waited until M39s arrived to target the S-400s in Luhansk. Regardless of the munition the Ukrainians deploy, the ultimate goal of the raids targeting long-range air-defense batteries is obvious. Each S-400 Ukrainian force destroy makes it safer for Ukrainian cruise missiles and warplanes. “ATACMS is a combat multiplier in the deep battlespace,” U.S. Army major Carter Rogers wrote in a 1991 thesis for the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.

Ukraine to receive 300-km range ATACMS: When to expect missiles (msn.com)

Ukrainian military personnel will likely be provided with ATACMS missiles, with a range of up to 300 kilometers, at the beginning of the next year, according to Voice of America journalist Myroslava Gongadze.

According to her, a high-ranking official from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the military leadership of Ukraine held a meeting with the military leadership of the allies.

As a result of the meeting, it was agreed that the pace of arms supply to Ukraine would not decrease, and new missiles with a range of 300 kilometers would be delivered in January.

meanwhile, Germany drags its feet on missiles it promised to supply if us gave ukraine atacms. there are powerful russian forces still working in Germany. disappointing. withholding Taurus missiles because the US withheld the longer range atacms.

interesting claim that france and britain have military personnel involved in targetign and operational use of their missiles

Germany has no plans at moment to send Taurus missiles to Ukraine - Bild | Reuters

Germany currently has no plans to supply Ukraine with Taurus cruise missiles because they are not comparable to missiles provided by France and Britain, Bild newspaper reported on Wednesday.

Berlin is also concerned that the missiles could be used to target the Kerch Bridge linking Russia to Crimea, the Ukrainian peninsula seized and annexed by Moscow in 2014, the paper said.

Kyiv has been pushing Berlin to supply the Taurus missiles, which could give Ukraine the ability to cause significant damage deeper within Russian-occupied territory. Berlin has repeatedly said it will only act in concert with Washington on arms deliveries to Ukraine

In an internal meeting last week, Bild said, Chancellor Olaf Scholz told parliament's foreign affairs committee that Taurus missiles were not comparable to France's SCALP or Britain's Storm Shadow cruise missiles as those countries contribute geodata on targets directly themselves and are involved with their own personnel.
