Another crap statement that isn't backed up by the facts and data. Like this study that looked at risk/benefit of vaccinating 18 - 64 year olds.

Remarkably, we predicted vaccinating one million 18–25 year-old males would prevent 82,484 cases, 4,766 hospitalizations, 1,144 ICU admissions, and 51 deaths due to COVID-19, comparing to 128 vaccine-attributable myocarditis/pericarditis cases, 110 hospitalizations, zero ICU admissions, and zero deaths.
Please explain how the risk of 0 deaths and 110 hospitalizations is worse than the benefit of preventing 4,766 hospitalizations and 51 deaths?

And if you are curious about the benefits in kids? Try this study, which looked at the results in Ontario, Canada.

In this evaluation of the effectiveness of SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in adolescent and pediatric Omicron cases ages 4 to 17 in Ontario, Canada, we found that vaccination with two doses among adolescents and one dose among children is associated with a decreased likelihood of hospitalization, even when the vaccines do not prevent infection. SARS-CoV-2 vaccines remain an effective intervention to prevent severe outcomes in adolescent and pediatric populations, and continued efforts are needed to increase vaccine uptake in these populations.
Now, if you have any data that shows different, I'm happy to look at it. If all you have in response is childish name calling and impassioned pleas to your own ignorance, then expect to be called out on it. People should follow the data. The data tells a compelling story that isn't that difficult to understand. The vaccine saves hospitalizations and lives at all ages. And unless anyone has data showing the opposite, anyone who says otherwise is ignorant, which is the lowest form of stupidity.

And you gotta think based on those numbers, how many have experienced adverse effects that might be lasting even if they weren't hospitalized compared to *similar* (such as myocarditis) adverse effects from vaccines?

I don't think q and some others appreciate anywhere close to enough the true threat of infectious disease, in general or covid specifically. They've railed against vaccines and made them the problem, thus ignoring the true threat. Some (e.g. dreamliner) have gone full tilt anti-science germ denialist. His arguments are bonkers and should be flatly dismissed as such.

Notice the emotive ‘denialist.’ But it has no sting. I strongly deny any scientific basis for virology. Again, I regard as wingnuts people who believe you can cough on people and kill them.

And there has been all sorts of harm caused. The disease is not that dangerous to those under 65. You know this. Medicine would have never recommended these shots be authorized for this group. But we allowed big pharma and the idiots in public health who don’t know squat about medicine to screw this thing up.

Impassioned plea to ignorance. Called it. No thank you. I'll follow the data and the experts. You can enjoy your bliss on your own.

It is not about enjoying anything. It is about protecting kids. Thankfully we are only taking 1% who are still falling for the propaganda when it comes to protecting the kids from these shots…

And the data clearly shows the vaccine prevents pediatric hospitalizations. If it was about protecting kids, you might actually try following the data and the experts, and stop calling what they produce propaganda!

But you do you. Enjoy your ignorance. It must be blissful if you can look at all the data that is produced that shows just how wrong you are, and you can continue sallying forth.

In 2020 and 2021, covid was the:

4th leading cause of death or those 1 - 34yo
    2nd leading cause for 35 - 44yo
    1st leading cause for 45 to 54yo
    3rd leading cause for 55 to 64yo

These are deaths, not imaginary malevolent machinations of govt. People died. 100s of thousands of them. You keep saying the disease is not dangerous, yet in total thus far, covid killed nearly 300k Americans under age 65 and who knows how many got severely sick and have long term damage to their health (future SMI?) despite living. Vaccines aren't the problem. A deadly infectious disease unleashed upon the world is.

A lot of people had covid when they died. This is the type of fear our public health officials unnecessarily pushed. Causing the damage they did with lockdowns. Ridiculous guidance from masking to the shots.

And I agree the disease was the problem. And the shot was not the solution. Though to this day the idiots in public health say jab a 6 month old. The good news is doctors and parents are no longer listening. Its tough for doctors now that they do not have a reputable place to get good information.

The data, again, doesn't agree with you. All the data shows a reduction in hospitalization with vaccination at all ages. ALL OF IT! If you have data that actually backs up your opinion, please post it.

Or, you can continue with your impassioned plea to your own ignorance. Which isn't convincing to anyone who actually looks at the data. Why? Because the data is collected, reviewed, and analyzed by experts with years of education and experience. Your opinion based on your own ignorance in comparison would be funny, if it wasn't so dangerous.

LOL! You are one of the very few left who cannot see reality. The data has convinced the vast majority to protect their kids from these shots.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends the Covid vax for kids. While the probability of a child contracting a serious case of Covid is small, it's still a possibility and the organization representing physicians whose specialty is the treatment of children recommend the vax because while the possibility of a serious case Covid it is still a more serious possibility than an adverse reaction from the vaccine.

And I lament the death of expertise. The movie Idiocracy was meant as satire, not as a guide for the future.

There is a reason no one (doctors and parents) is listening to these charlatans. And less than 1% will put one of these shots in their kids. They know what is best for their kids and the kids they are responsible to advise in their office.

Yes, a lot did. And some of them even if they didn't die directly from covid, that they had a pathogen in their system almost certainly contributed to their deaths even when docs couldn't make a determination about it being a cause. Tis what happens with the human body and infectious disease, especially among those who might not be all that healthy to begin with.

It's not tough for doctors. The data are clear. Other than isolated situations where someone might truly be at a high risk from complications from a vaccine, any doctor reccing vaccines is making an informed rec based on the much lower risk of vaccines. Though doctors who might rec to already fully vaxxed individuals that they don't need another one would not be based on vaccines being a higher risk, but not necessarily as much reward given prior vaccination.

What data? The data you posted showing that getting vaccinated greatly reduced the risk of dying from covid, and didn't increase the risk of dying from anything else?
