He was ready for foul play considering the procedure for that election cycle was unprecedented, which it was.

A lot of people, including Trump, went to bed on election night thinking he won.

    Not exactly.

I don't think a bunch of DAs got together and said, "let's gang up on Trump." But they did have a vendetta against him individually from the outset based on politics. That is a form of weaponizing the justice system.

he contested the 2016 election AND the 2016 Iowa caucuses. He's a little bitch that needs a trophy for losing.

That is not an honest opinion.

Maybe you believe it, but I have my doubts... and that is completely removed from reality.

Here's the truth, Joe Biden's Justice Department has done more to undermine American Democracy than anything Trump ever did. At least Trump didn't succeed. The institutions rightfully held the line. The Biden Administration likely will succeed.

Then, the precedent is set: Lock up your opponents, run against no real threatening opposition, coast to victory.

Only idiots went to bed thinking the election was over. People in the news were all talking that in an election with a record number of early ballots due to the pandemic, a winner may not be called on election night. And that the early ballots in most states would favor Biden, which was true in all contested states except Arizona.

The fact Biden wasn't declared the winner until a week after election night shouldn't have surprised anyone. But Trump and his cult following didn't want to believe the truth. And they bought into Trump's election lies lock, stock, and barrel.

As for the new speaker, the Ds got what they wanted. They let the Rs show they don't know how to lead, and ended up with a MAGAt speaker that will push moderate voters to vote D and possibly help the Ds retake the House.

It wasn't "over" but a lot of people went to bed thinking he won.

Do you consider it to be weaponizing the legal system when police and prosecutors focus a disproportionate amount of their enforcement resources on certain communities?

I turned off the Colorado-Stanford game at half when it was 29-0 Colorado because I thought Colorado had it won. I guess Stanford winning in OT was just football fraud.

And that were uneducated idiots if they went to bed thinking the election was over and Ttump had won. Anyone who was listening to the press and understood what was going on, knew the election was far from over. Including many in Trump's circle. But Trump declared victory already and the MAGA cult members followed blindly.

    Not necessarily.

I would say there are significant disparities in law enforcement in every country on Earth.

It was the top of the 8th and your team is up 5-1. It's not over, but it's looking good.

People who went to bed thinking it was "looking good" for Trump were not stupid, they just happened to be wrong.

So it's only a problem when law enforcement focuses on Trump? There's not much principle in the stance you're taking.

    Not what I'm saying.

And for the record, I don't think the election was stolen from Trump. I think Trump actually lost. So I disagree with both Johnson (probably) and Trump on that end. But I also think the election procedures from the 2020 election could've done plenty more to inspire confidence from the public. It doesn't inspire confidence to arbitrarily pick and choose when you stop counting votes without the public ever even having an idea how many votes there are to count.

No it's a problem when elected law enforcement campaigns on prosecuting a politician from the opposing party, then prosecutes that politician from the opposing party.

This is not complicated. Stop framing and try having a conversation with me.

No. They were stupid. It was more like middle of the 4th with the Trump bullpen really shaky. Only idiots believed it was anywhere near over. Including many in Trump's inner circle. Even Fox News didn't call the election for Biden until 4 days after election day.

If anyone went to bed thinking the election was over, they were wilfully ignorant. Or, in other words, stupid.
