Nobody knew who this dude was. It’s the reason they elected him speaker. But now the discovery is going to start and people will figure out they have a well spoken MAGA Christian Taliban zealot for a speaker.

I fully expected you to rationalize Trump's innumerable shortcomings once Trump secured the nomination. I guess it makes sense that you're doing it now that it's pretty much a given that no other GOP candidate can win
It's not rationalizing, it's properly characterizing their lack of significance. There's a lot about Trump that I don't like that me and others on this board probably agree on. Where we disagree is the significance of those issues and how we characterize them. And how you characterize them is awfully important.
Can you name all the other elected DC people indicted on 91 felonies, obstructed justice, election fraud, found liable for sexual assault, prohibited from operating a charity in NY, had to close a business because of fraud, and stole national secrets? A record in sleaze and corruption not likely to be broken
You mean the ones targeted by the law enforcement apparatus and justice system for those things, which doesn't prove the point you think it does.
