All that of that land is right on the river... in one acre lots in a row. They got that property from her husband's father when he died. The father bought that property way before that movie was made.

 

Blue Ridge is a neat little town to visit. That's all I got.

I like Jekyll Island and Savannah. About 2 hours from Jax. Easy to drive and visit.

 

It's beautiful there. I enjoyed going there especially around Christmas.

did you hear about the shops in the historic district? Closing at the end of the year. It stinks , but apparently the buildings are staying and the Jekyll Island Authority has plans for them. We really loved visiting those shops every time we went.
