Not trying to get into an argument with you but when someone says "from" it usually means that's where they were born.

And it was Seabreeze High.....not Mainland......

Their interstates are generally smoother than those in SC

I haven't lived in Gainesville for years, but I was raised there and still consider that to be where I'm from. I was born in Avon Park, Florida, and was only there during my stay for the first three days of my life. Am I from there or Gainesville?

The quality of the experience isn't what it used to be, but it's still open.

People that have gone for years say it’s become pretty commercialized. Ate there about five years ago. Views are great but once I checked it off list I wouldn’t go back unless I was with people that really wanted to.

Atlanta is actually a very pretty town for its size. Compare it to bleak-ass, treeless, soulless South Florida for instance.

I actually met Mrs. Allman (Geraldine) back in the early 2000's, when I was still running my landscaping business.

Friend of mine here, Diane Marshall, who had dated Gregg Allman, knew she was interested in some help for her property, so asked if I could go take a look.

We did.............but nothing came of it regarding any work.

Funny thing is most obits of Geraldine list her as living in Daytona Beach Shores, but I believe the property we went to was in Ponce Inlet.

They did live in the shores when the boys were still in school....so maybe that's where the mixup is....

I lived in Ellijay and Woodstock combined for almost eight years. Got snowed in for 3 days in Ellijay, but it was sunny during those 3 days and I enjoyed it. Woodstock weather got cold, but pretty mild most of the time. I can deal with the cold if it's sunny. I wouldn't have stayed had it been dreary. The colors in the fall were incredible.
