Not getting my hopes up for Seaton. Mincey is up next.

Mincey announces at the All-Star game in January. Surely, we can get another verbal before then.

No, as things stand with all other teams that is, the other day before McCray commitment, I plugged in McCray, Mincey, Seaton and Smith into the 247 class calculator and it gave us 303 points good for 2nd behind the 313 points UGA currently has.

We need to steal one or two from UGA, and add two more surprises on top of that. :):D

Or we steal one from Bama, one from FSU, and add two more surprises. :ninja3::ninja3:

And not Bowen the RB. His ranking went from mid teens to top 10 (when he committed to UGA) to mid 30s. He is now behind our RB commit.

So…my not so inside source believes Seaton cooled a little bit after his visit to UF due to imminent changes in the O line staff following the season (that the UF coaches informed him of). Don’t know if that means he was told one or both o line coaches would be gone and or who may be coming in (if anyone) to replace one or both o line coaches. Anyway, this has made Seaton want to look around even further and think harder on where to attend. Immediately after his UF visit he scheduled an Oregon visit which I wasn’t sure was even in the picture much until that time. Still likes UF but not as sold as he once was.

anyway, take this info with a grain of salt. Could be entirely wrong and unwarranted.

How can we recruit any blue-chip O-linemen if our o-line coaches already know they’re leaving at the end of the year? Who even does the recruiting?

napier and off field analyst? Don’t know. And don’t know if it’s true. It is more likely that one of the two OL coaches could be leaving and Seaton may prefer him to who is staying? All speculative anyway.

I’d be impressed if Napier was doing the recruiting directly. During visits, sure, but I’m talking about all the communication over weeks and months.

We’ll just have to see how it all plays out.

I'm certainly not disappointed to here one of the coaches may be gone this offseason. I'll have greater confidence in Napier as our CEO if he can get rid of dead weight year after year.
