This is why I laugh when people complain about college players being paid. University athletic departments obviously have stupid money to pay terrible coaches outrages buyouts. Now they overpay unproven high school graduates too!

What makes it even stranger is that Piuttman's detractors could be rooting for a bad season so his buyout would literally be lower? LOL!

This season is already a turd, so losing enough for the buyout to be cheaper wouldn't be the worst thing to happen to them. I wonder if they've forgiven Bobby Petrino enough to hire him again.

 

They have to pay the now-fired OC for the next 2 seasons, full pay, with $750K raises.

If Pittman's W-L doesn't fall below .500 he gets a bigger buyout.

It smells like desperation by Pittman to get him to next season somehow and hope for a miracle.

No idea if he gets fired or not......we'll have to wait and see, as always.......
