No points awarded for stealing Urban or because it’s a rivalry game? I dunno, man. I dunno.

 

With our schedule we'll have plenty of opportunities to prove ourselves.

 

I’ve been to SLC once and didn’t feel anything, but I was also a Denver resident at the time, so I wouldn’t have anyways.

Looks like I was right to be worried.
We are not ready- though I don’t think the backup qb caused a letdown. We are just not ready.

 

Not ready isn't the same as overconfident. Not that it matters in the end.

 

Welp. I was in the stadium and those 50K Utes were damn loud. The other 3600+ were Gators. They set an all time attendance record. Standing room only areas were two deep. They wanted this one and they got it. They absolutely had the enthusiasm of a rivalry game even though they don’t care about beating us and we don’t even know their name.

 

Yes, they won because we took Urban from them 20 years ago, and it was some mythical rivalry. Those kids that were in their diapers and mother’s wombs when it happened really brought the heat because of that. Nothing to do with all of all our boneheaded penalties and poor play. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Were our fans not enthusiastic last year? I don’t know a single one, other than you I guess, that would call this a rivalry. We just wanted to win a big OOC game at home. Like every other team in the country.

 

Never called it a rivalry. Trying to get through to you that this game was huge to them. Their students’ enthusiasm put ours to shame even though they probably had less than half of what we get into a game. Loud. F*** Florida was emblazoned across the bare back of a coed in a halter top. Mock chomps after the game I heard from other Gators although I saw none. We lost the game due to our unpreparedness and perhaps because we relaxed that one of the top QBs in the nation would not face us. Utes said that their next OOC game probably won’t have a half full stadium; Admittedly, that will be Weber. This was probably their biggest game of the year. Someone told me last night that the Utah big three don’t even play each other this year (haven’t checked schedules to verify). Huge game for the Utes. Flop for my Gators. Peace out.

I had a terrible triad tear at work. Lower leg went almost 90 degrees in a lateral slightly rear angle. ACL, MCL medial and lateral meniscus tears at the same time.

I still have trouble getting my quads and hamstrings to fire appropriately and I am currently doing rehab for the injury 3 years later.

Of course I'm not a pro prospect with every bit of advanced training at my disposal but I'm also not asked to go lead a football team. Hope he recovers. I really liked him and his game.

 

You know our loss to Utah and bryson Barnes still doesn't look too bad seeing how they just did the same thing to a highly ranked USC team with the defending Heisman QB

 

Wow, losing two of your best players and Utah is still what - 6 and 1?

I really respect their program.

Utah is always a solid, well-coached team so our loss to them was nothing to be ashamed about. That being said, them beating USC wasn’t much a surprise since they’ve recently owned them. USC were some frauds.

 

Note to self. Dont read antny's posts about injuries during lunch anymore.
