Those are probably people that never watched it religiously growing up. They’ve made fun of every president since I can remember. Still think it’s funny. That’s the idea behind Satire
Was just asking because they love to put that “over Florida” in those posts even if we weren’t after them
I think some recruits are scared of Lagway. Size, height, arm strength and speed blow away every other HS QB. The only question mark was accuracy and now he is dominating on that front as well.
Looks like a fun offense for a QB to play in. It will be interesting to see if their OC will still be in town by the time this recruit arrives in Boulder. I'm sure some other programs are salivating over what the Buffs have been able to do offensively this season.
I agree. I don’t get the people who get offended and butthurt by a show that cracks jokes on celebrities and politicians, just weird behavior.
Lagway hasn't faced very tough competition thus far this year (in fact the over-all records of the teams he's faced is 20-46, as well as all of those teams combined giving up almost 40 points a game), so I wouldn't read too much into the accuracy numbers or stats in general he's thrown up just yet. He'll face a district opponent this coming Friday, that should give a much clearer picture of the accuracy of those numbers he's put up to this point actually were in as far as a gage in his development? In fact he'll be facing a team with a QB that's committed to Wisconsin, so its a match-up worth keeping a eye on in as far as how each QB responds in a game that will be for a district title! Then we will also have the playoffs where Laqway will see a significant step up in competition once the regular season ends.
Don't forget that football is a team sport with 11 men on the field at once, and one man can't play every position.
I think the old writers and cast were just far superior. There only a couple on there that are very funny.
So, if I understand you citing of "football being a 11 men on the field" comment. I would in turn ask, why then all the focus on Logways individual stats up to this point? I'm just simply pointing out that his stats up to this point are more reflective of the type of talent he's faced up to this point. Lagway for this 1st time this season, will face a 11 member defensive squad this Friday from a talent standpoint, will perhaps provide a better analysis of where he is at from a development standpoint. Take a look at what Max Brown did his senior year, from a statistical standpoint for example. The differences between Max Brown and DJ Lagway senior years comes down to the measurables bottom line.........I'm not prepared to buy into all this excitement over padded stats just yet, particularly since its come against the inferior competition he's faced up to this point.. I'll be watching Lagway's game Friday night on the NFHS network, to hopefully satisfy some of the questions I still have about him.
To a point, yes... But remember that even his receivers will be under more pressure from better teams. The O-line and their blocking are going to be under more pressure to block and the running backs will have to find the hole to run though against this better team... so yes, Lagway will have some of his stats effected by playing a better team. He just has to hit the receivers accurately regardless. And if he runs he has to find ways to gain yardage on the ground... if all else breaks down. Great players make plays regardless... let's hope he makes plays. It's going to be fun to see how he handles the added pressure.
