They get a 3-loss Wake Florist team next and then a 5-loss Pitt team before they get Miami. Then a 5-loss North Alabama team. Their mothers must have designed this schedule.
Final.............................38-20 FSU - (who only won because their opponent lost their starting QB)
Duke has had only SIX TOTAL 4-star recruits since 2018. Everyone else was 3-stars or less. It's a miracle they hung with them as long as they did.
Bobby and Mickey are clapping all night at injuring the opposing qb when the game was close. Classic stuff similar to what was typical under Saint Bobby.
That's a beatable FSU team. Until the 4th quarter when Leonard went out and Duke's defense wore down, Duke was the better team on the LOS. Sadly, a home game against Duke with a hobbled starting QB counts as their toughest conference game this year. <--(Reread that sentence and let it sink in)
Methinks it is just that the ACC refs make the SEC refs look competent. Usually, the incompetence goes both ways. But the optics are always BAD.
That was the turning point of the game. Huge dropoff from 1st string QB to 2nd for Duke. I believe Duke would have scored if the QB didn't go down. On second thought the QB going down was the turning point. Either way it looks like the noles will be undefeated when they come to Gainesville. I like how that shakes out. I want them flying high when they come to town.
A bad BC team chokes and hands FSU a 3 pt. win, an average Clemson team misses a FG and FSU wins in OT, followed by an average Duke team who FSU had no answers for until Duke's starting QB left the game. Their luck will run out. Hopefully in G'ville or the ACCCG. If not, we'll get to watch them get destroyed in the playoffs.
Wishful thinking! This is a really good Semi team. So many weapons and a QB that won’t let them lose . They could win it all.
