Fox has been treating the Israeli tragedy pretty solidly, and with dignity. CNN has been manufacturing a Hamas tragedy and drumming up sympathy for Hamas, just as diligently.

Yes ... the modern job of the speaker is to completely shut down and silence the other party ... dems do it, too, when they have control, that's just the way it is ... but to expect dems to cross the aisle and vote for the guy that's going to single handedly shut down their agenda -- just to be nice and helpful -- isn't a realistic thing for republicans to expect.

 

I don't understand what the problem is. We already have a Speaker. George Santos has been Speaker since the beginning of the year. Just check his resume

It isn't just shut down the Dems agenda, it is attempting to punish them for investigating Trump and his partners in crime.. Dems voting for guys like McCarthy and Jordan who want to impeach Biden would be sheer lunacy.

Jordan is from the Steve Bannon school of politics. He is not looking to legislate, just there to create anarchy.
