Technically, they could go through the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba. But it still feels completely out of range

Al Jazeera is owned by Qatar, which hosts the leadership of Hamas. What we haven’t seen yet is any proof of Israeli involvement— such as parts from the ordinance. Not has anyone in the ground produced any parts of anything. Take a guess why? I do suspect that as soon as they get enough parts together from other places, we will soon see Israeli bomb parts being waved around.

The IRG might operate the systems themselves out of Yemen. Let’s see if our Saudi allies stand up to an Iranian proxy. Good test of the true strength of these alliances

How is that in Irans interest? Lose/lose for them id think. We don’t win every war but we leave the other side decimated.

It's a fair question, and I don't know. I have often thought, or maybe just hoped, that a significant portion of Iran's sabre rattling is intended to foment domestic anger and unity of purpose so the Iranian population is focused on external enemies rather than on the moral minders beating women for daring to expose their hair.

I don’t think it is in their interest (though, in fairness, they have made a staggering number of decisions not in their interest since 1979). I was only responding to a question of what Iran would have to do to make us strike them directly. My answer is, quite a lot.

Edit: I thought you were addressing a different post. So, yeah, Iran is just “warning” us through their proxies. They don’t really see a downside to that, to answer your question lose-lose.

Off topic, but the religious police don’t beat women for daring to expose their hair. They use daring to expose their hair as an excuse to arrest them in order to force themselves on them sexually, married or not … they only “beat” the women who resist sexual demands. Everyone in Iran knows this happens, and it was the real reason for the protests.

I would think a more plausible scenario is during the Trump administration sanctions on Iran were severe so their oil production and sales was really low. When Ukraine war happened and Saudi tightened, Biden administration reportedly eased up on some sanctions allowing Iran to produce /sell more oil. This is essentially what Jared Kusher said in the podcast I posted. I have no idea if true but it seems plausible.

Church of Saint Porphyrius in Gaza near the hospital. Many deaths of those sheltering. All I have found so far.

Update. Appears to be a building on church grounds not the main Tabernacle. No other details so far

Well he thinks this is a game of football. What was his intent when he said, "the missile appears to be from the other 'team'"? Why not just say Hamas or another Islamic terrorist group?

Agree. I think that's a really terrible way to phrase it.

Agree with a caveat. It’s a terrible way of phrasing it to the world and to the American people. It’s a perfectly fine of phrasing it to Israeli leadership and to your national security team in private.

Islamic Jihad is the “other team.” Not just for Israel. Regardless of his awkward phrasing, he has strongly made the case for aid to Israel and Ukraine. Unfortunately, one political party is fractured as to the latter.

To clarify, it’s referring to Hamas as a “team” like this is a game that is awkward in context. He should refer to them as the enemy.

A well delivered speech by Biden. I’m sure I’m the only one here who watched it but maybe we’ll get some edited clips like usual.

(CNN) — President Joe Biden tied the wars in Ukraine and Israel together during a primetime Oval Office address Thursday, making an impassioned appeal to the American people to support two fellow democracies that he says are facing existential threats.

So now we have this report from France saying they believe it is somewhere near 10-50 deaths from the rocket misfire. Again, the sooner the MSM stops believe Hamas the better. Anyone looking at the aftermath could see there was no way 500 people died in that parking lot unless you are to believe they were having a tailgate party in the hospital parking lot.
