Living in GA, I’ve had dinner and drinks with Austin Scott in a very small group before. Don’t agree with his politics but found him to be a stand up guy. Somewhat surprised this is the hill he can use to die on when the only reason we are in this position is because McCarthy gave 8 idiots the individual right to recall him, and they did.

 

From the person who posts 50 times a day arguing with multiple people on a message board? Take your own advice.

Something I can finally agree with McCarthy on as he referred to Gaetz and crew as the "crazy 8's".

I don't have kids, so I'm not 100% sure what a MS slumber party is like, but this is about how I imagine a MS slumber party unfolding.

It’s not really on both, though. Democrats did not want McCArthy as Speaker, because they didn’t like his agendas and he broke their trust several times. The last straw was when he blamed them for the Republican’s potential government shutdown after the Democrats were the ones who bailed him out.

They want Jeffries as Speaker, not McCarthy, not Scalise, not Jordan… so they did exactly what was expected.

 

The gop has its head up its ass and it is on the dems to fix that. 10-4

Oh, please. You’re telling me that every single Democrat thinks only one person IN THE WORLD is suitable for the position, and that even though he has zero chance of winning, not a single democrat has proposed an alternative candidate?
