    How about this *opinion* piece:

Forget the $6 Billion, Biden Has Freed Up Over $70 Billion for Iran

...here's another fun one, although admittedly limited to the 6 Billion:

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said he will use the funds released by the United States however he wants. This reaffirms critics' concerns about the inequitable agreement to release five hostages as the money could be used for nuclear programs or any other deceptive purpose.

Last Monday, the Biden Administration approved the release of 6 billion Iranian dollars that were frozen by the US government under the condition that the funds would only be used for humanitarian purposes, such as food and medicine.

However, on Tuesday an interview was broadcast in which Raisi said that this money belongs to his country and that, therefore, they will be the ones who decide how it will be spent. "This money belongs to the Islamic Republic of Iran, and naturally, we will decide, the Islamic Republic of Iran will decide to spend it wherever we need it," he said, stressing that for him a humanitarian purpose "means whatever the Iranian people [need]" and that it will be their government that determines what those needs are.

Iran humiliates Joe Biden: will use US unfrozen money as it pleases - Voz Media

And from the same article--chilling prescience:

    This agreement could incentivize hostage-taking
Another concern of critics is that this deal could be seen as a kind of reward for detaining American hostages, which in turn would incentivize more kidnappings.

"Instead of making it an even trade, we also offer to unfreeze $6 billion in Iranian funds, rewarding them for detaining hostages,
incentivizing the kidnapping of future Americas, and possibly funding more terror," said famed radio host Charles J. Kirk.

 They might take hostages??? ...you ain't f'rill bra!

Looks like the Hamas murderers were high on Captagon during the attack. This is the new drug that is financing the Islamist terror networks.

Funny you say that. Meth was used by the Nazis during their blitzgriegs in the early stages of the war, before their knew how addictive and destructive the drug was.

Captagon apparently has very similar characteristics.

Jews know what those slogans mean. Appreciate that you and others are learning. And, those you scream I am Hamas are essentially announcing “I am a Nazi.” Because the Nazis wanted to kill every Jew in Europe. Hamas’ Charter calls for the killing of very Jew everywhere— even me as I type this in my Florida office. And they only start with Jews. The world has learned that repeatedly. That is who Hezbollah and Hamas are. Among many. Being an academic or smart or Liberow or conservative doesn’t mean one any less of an anti-Semite. The genocidal bent and bigots count in short memories and ignorance. And you pointed out above, look what Israel achieved by giving Gaza self-governance. And look at the offers in 1967 of all the land for peace or the deal the Palestinians negotiated in 1999 and refused to sign. Yet, Israel is the illegal occupier? Israel is de facto settling land and removing the chance of a deal? Who wants a deal on the Arab side? What heal? Who can and will make a deal? They keep saying no. So, when you hear the word “occupation,” They aren’t taking about the West Bank. It’s in these slogans. At least some in the US are waking up. Anyone wonder why the Mufti of Jerusalem supported the Nazis on WW2? There was no Israeli “occupation” then. Another self evident answer

They Are evil people. Pure evil. Not animals. Animals kill for food. They don’t have a conscience about it. These people killed for cruelty and genocide. Calling them animals demeans animals.

This is circulating. I listened but I am underwhelmed and see no reason to alter my prior conclusion. Basically it says the released audio intercept doesn't sound like the right dialect, inflections etc. Maybe, not qualified to judge. Would have appreciated more detail if I was going to evaluate, though plainly I don't speak Arabic. Says it quickly with a hand waive. Doesn't mean it's wrong, but odd I have not seen that elsewhere. In this age, a plainly fabricated audio widely disseminated on Twitter would have had numerous detailed deconstructions online to listen to with explanations.

Also says the trajectories are off on the video Israel said shows the missile from the claimed launch areas. Possibly, but again they go through it fast. And the trajectory still shows coming from the West, not East, even if precise launch location is incorrect

Says Israel attacked that hospital before, which I have heard before, but they go though about 1 second of video of very minor damage, similar to what I have seen before, which suggests at best shrapnel from a nearby bomb.

Agreed there is no bomb crater, but says it might be airburst. But that would suggest deliberate anti-personnel attack. Even if you believe Israel might, all of the injuries/deaths I have heard about were burns, more consistent with fuel ignition. If it was airburst antipersonnel munition, injuries would be far different.

Then says Hamas has recovered part of the bomb but has not produced yet. Again largely inconsistent with airburst. And of course, I'm sure Hamas has many Israeli bomb fragments. Thousands have been dropped in nearly two weeks, some of which will malfunction and have parts intact. Not sure what it will prove if they can produce part of Israeli bomb.

Bottom line. If these arguments have merit, we will see them elaborated on in far greater detail soon.

not good. hezbollah claims to have stalked and destroyed an Israeli tank and killed the crew in the process.

Hezbollah: We destroyed the Israeli Merkava. The entire crew perished (msn.com)

The Lebanese party Hezbollah has announced troubling news. Their resistance forces reportedly tracked and then destroyed, an Israeli tank. As a result of the attack, the entire crew lost their lives.

Considered by many countries, including the USA, to be a terrorist group, the Lebanese party Hezbollah reported on Wednesday information about locating a Merkava tank. It was believed to belong to Israel. According to information released by the Saba agency, the tank was destroyed, and all its crew members are dead.

I can't tell whether that's a new story although there have been a few similar stories. This is pure speculation, but I interpret this as a warning that Merkavas, consider the most survivable tanks in the world, are now very vulnerable, including the crew.

The ones staging outside Gaza now have the top cages that were developed by both sides in Ukraine, mainly Russia, as a defense against loitering drones. I have assumed that part of the timing in holding off on the ground attack has been retrofitting them. There was a picture somewhere on Twitter yesterday with most of them with this retrofit.

Merkavas have the Trophy countermeasure system that is supposed to protect from antitank missiles - Trophy (countermeasure) - Wikipedia.
The Israelis developed it and it is the current standard. It was invulnerable in 2014

    Operation Protective Edge[edit]
No tanks were damaged during Operation Protective Edge, with the Trophy Active Protection system performing over a dozen interceptions of anti-tank weapons including Kornet, Metis, and RPG-29.[43] The system, by identifying the source of fire, on occasion also allowed tanks to kill the Hamas anti-tank team.[43]

Giora Katz, head of Rafael's land division, stated it was a "breakthrough because it is the first time in military history where an active defense system has proven itself in intense fighting."[44] During the war, Trophy validated itself in dozens of events, protecting tanks and crews over three weeks of high-threat maneuvering operations in built-up areas without a single hit to defended platforms and zero false alarms".[45]

I have not been able to tell from the articles whether the system was engaged at the time of the attack but I assume it was. As such, I will assume this is Hezbollah's attempt to warn Israel of the vulnerability if they invade Gaza.

Edit: Found a pic of the cope cages that protect against drones
