Good old tribalism. Religion has killed more people than any other cause.

The WHO has no intelligence so not sure how they are getting numbers except from Hamas or media outlets.

And as far as civilians, there is no such thing in war, especially in the ME. They are tribal, and will swarm like ants on anything they deem unholy. Imo, bomb them back to God and let him sort it out.

Yes they do. And they aren’t idiots. They know exactly what they are saying. They have been saying it since 1948.

Utter nonsense. Judea and Samaria have been the names for those areas in Israel for thousands of years. “West Bank” is the new name.https://uklficharity.com/wp-content...Status-of-the-West-Bank-Judea-and-Samaria.pdf

I'm aware that Judea and Samaria are historical names. But in using the historical names, it is a de facto assertion of sovereignty, advocacy of eliminating Palestinians from the land no less than the "river to the seas" is a de facto formulation for denying Israel's Right to Exist. It is stating that Palestinians have no right to exist there and that a Palestinian state cannot exist

You don't think the WHO has people on the ground or trusted sources in Gaza? ... this will be another thing where people believe what they want.

Also, are you saying the Israel concert goers and families murdered door to door should not be considered civilians and it's okay to kill them, or that a one way street for you?

There are plenty of non-Hamas sources of information in the Strip, especially at that hospital, which is run by the Anglican Church. There is a bit of intimidation, to be sure, although that comes from all sides

No, I don't. Again, what are the sources.

As to your second question, I could care less. The only thing I care about is the US and it's interests. If Israel gives us better strategic interests, so be it. People over there have been killing each other since they migrated out of Africa. I just don't care anymore.

And they all attributed the source to Hamas and also indicated that Israel disputed the Hamas narrative and attributed the explosion to an errant missile from Islamic Jihad.

This is effectively the “I didn’t claim it was true, I said ‘many people are saying it’” defense that Fox and Trump both used to get raked over the coals for on this site.

And most of them didn’t “attribute it to Hamas,” they said “Palestinian officials say” - and all of that is putting aside that the structure of the headline wasn’t to report that Palestinians were making the claim, but to instead report the strike itself.

New media reporting and attributing what two different governments are claiming in the hours after a bombing seems like that whole "reporting both sides" thing that republicans are always complaining that MSM doesn't do.

The actual article is paywalled. I cannot tell whether a prisoner exchange is being proposed, which was Hamas' prior position.

Agreed. It's more than they said before but it's still absurd. They are just pure evil. I just flagged it to try to figure out whether they were really saying that they would release all hostages in exchange for a 24-hour cease fire without a prisoner exchange. I could not tell looking at the tweet.

Wrong. When the Arabs talk about “River to the seas,” they are talking about driving our Jews. Why can’t Jews live in Israel? And, as the history notes, Jordan abandoned Judea and Samaria. That is who was sovereign there before 1967.

I’m sure a few folks in here can’t wait to watch and parse Biden’s words so they can continue pushing their ridiculous “the left is pro-Hamas, anti-Israel” narrative.
