The links I posted were Harvard ppl, disgusted with Harvard leadership's response--not 'rando extremists'.

...and those 31 STUDENT CLUBS... were and are comprised of... HARVARD UNIVERSITY STUDENTS.

This is just you wishing that 'no one agree[d] with them except rando extremists'--when it's quite apparent that so many misguided *enlightened* lefties, can not seem to distinguish Palenstinain from Hamas, because they're so indoctrinated and ingrained with word-association knee jerk reaction that they can't seem to distinguish good from evil, when they've long ago married Israel = bad and Palestinian = good.

Alas....if their principles were properly grounded to Life is sacred and good, and taking life, taking civilian hostages, raping women, and lopping heads off of babies, is...@#$%@%& EVIL!!!!

...then they might not be written off as 'rando extremists' by enlightened folk like you, right?

....but then again, they probably wouldn't have gotten into Harvard either.

Which makes it very much, a Hah'vu'd thing.

See, I would submit that the folks using Hamas' abject, objective evil atrocities as somehow occasion to celebrate in the name of Palestinians, is the problem.

GOP or anyone pointing out the obvious folly of such a reaction, gets filed under that vestigial concept that seems all but extinct, to wit: "NORMAL."

    Broad brush there man…

Honestly how many out of the hundreds thousands of cops a “corrupt”.

Any data to back up those thoughts or is just a feeling?

I’d bet the % is pretty similar across most fields really.

Bad teachers, bad doctors, bad cops, bad lawyers.

Harvard President Claudine Gay issued a statement Tuesday saying “no student group – not even 30 student groups – speaks for Harvard University or its leadership.”

Here is the letter signed by Palestinians support groups. I dont agree with it. It says Israel and only Israel is responsible for the violence. That's 110% bullshit. Being critical of people that just suffered such loss is also more than tone deaf its cruel. But suggesting this letter is because Harvard is teaching some level extremism is silly. So is suggesting Democrats are tolerant of terrorist sympathizers.

William F. Buckley, quoted in Esquire magazine in 1961: “I would rather be governed by the first 2,000 people in the telephone directory,” he said, “than by the Harvard University faculty.”
62 years later i still agree.

William F Buckley was an interesting guy and a Yale grad, so......

Of course Buckley came from an era when "conservatives" were actually .... conservative.

Hey man, I'm just a humble Gator talk'n common sense.

I quoted you high fallut'n Harvard folk, disgusted with their own alma mater's limp wristed tepid reaction to both the Hamas atrocity, AND the disgusting letter.

It's a Harvard thing. It is an institutional Harvard thing.

At least the folks who attended Harvard haven't lost their bearings like the school proper appears to have. That's encouraging; it can be fixed, because even Harvard has to answer to its people. Hopefully this will serve as a corrective occasion for our nation's oldest and most prestigious institution of higher education.

Tell the truth now--if 30-34 UF Student orgs signed a public letter celebrating this, or any terrorist atrocity in the name of X group for Y reason....would you be ok with that?

I think I'd be @#$%@#$% pissed AF...and be very vocal of my objection.

Like those Harvard folks in the articles I linked.

btw, I wasn't suggesting Dems are tolerant of terrorist sympathizers--a prominent Dem actually flew a Palestinian flag outside her office, hours after ___________ did ______________ [what]?

    Hamas....committed terrorist atrocities.

That isn't 'dems being tolerant of terrorist sympathizers'--that is a Democrat, celebrating a terrorist attack, and proudly connecting her homeland to said attack and the group that committed it.

How about this hypo: neo-fascists riot...kill a bunch of Jews in Deutschland....and some Sen. or House Rep. named Otto Zimmerman or such, flies a German flag the very next day....

Would you be ok with that congressman...boasting his heritage at that point? Connecting Germany with the neo-facists' atrocity?

...Rep. [Vladimir Kutzov]...brandishing the old Red USSR flag, after Putin dropped a nuke on a city in Urkaine?

...the late Sen. Byrd's (D.) descendant--elected to congress--flying a rebel flag in the wake of a KKK atrocity where several blacks/Jews/Catholics were killed, taken hostage, raped and/or babies beheaded...

And how about the person's party mates saying "...hey, (s)he's German/Russian/southern... they're just supporting their ppl.!"

Now I would say THAT is in fact '[X= party mates] being tolerant of terrorist sympathizer(s)'.

    Not me, suggesting it.

    Your point Pit?

Just for context the first quote of mine you posted I was responding to a poster saying righties don’t trust teachers but always trust the cops.
I then said maybe we don’t “trust” any of them and then clarified saying trust but verify.

The second post was in response to another post where “righties” accused of again almost trusting the cops implicitly. I’ll say again trust but verify.

If a cop, teacher, Pol, whoever is accused of wrong doing I’d error in favor of the civil servant until all the details are in and not go off half cocked as many here do from both sides.

As I stated about the vast majority are not doing bad things, any data to show my take is wrong?

Did this teacher indoctrinate? I'm genuinely curious, because the article appears to refer only to social media posts.

Objection! Counsel is assuming facts not in evidence.
Counsel does not know if the letter signers are enlightened nor if they are lefties.
Counsel does not know if their signature is because they are indoctrinated and ingrained.
Yer Honor, these are merely counsel's opinions

Right? I'm not going to support this teacher's message, but there was some talk of indoctrination in the thread and it seemed like the indoctrination issue and this circumstance might have been conflated. Perhaps this teacher should be reprimanded or worse for stupidity, but I didn't see where they were communicating the ideology under question to students.

I'm not favor of punishing teachers for what they say outside of the classroom for the most part. But this thread makes me wonder about what happened to the "viewpoint diversity" in the classroom we've been hearing about ... I guess that only applies viewpoints about stuff like slavery being beneficial to black people or hearing the "other side" of the holocaust.

Teacher recently in the news for her off-campus activities.

Teacher found with OnlyFans account resigns to focus on porn

The Missouri teacher who was placed on leave after she was found running an OnlyFans page with her husband has resigned to devote her time to porn.

“I don’t want to fight the school district. I’m just ready for peace,” Brianna Coppage, 28, told the Messenger of her resignation.

    ****

“Never do I think that students or children should have been exposed to this and I truly believe had an adult not found it, and I was told that an adult is who reported it, students never would have known,” she told the outlet.

It's a photo with absolutely no context. The display could very well have a class project in which the flags of different advocacy groups were displayed not a display indicating support of any of the groups by either the school, its teachers or its students.

It would have also been helpful if the tweet included a link to the source of the photo or even the name of the school. On the other hand perhaps it was best that the name of the school wasn't mentioned since it would have received a whole shitload of hate mail and/or the electronic equivalent on social media.
