Colts are in rebuild mode anyway, they weren’t doing anything this season But it would have been nice to see more of AR than just 3 games. If they had about 8 more games the Colts would know a lot more about what they have in AR
I don't even disagree with your take about his time at florida minus some of the venom. It also doesn't have anything to do with his nfl performance so far. I've always stated I thought AR had some bad advisors that got in his head. I blame his camp more than him
I agree, to an extent. I just don’t see it as a reasonable excuse for his selfishness. But, yes, it seems people around AR convinced him that playing for the paycheck was acceptable behavior. However, imo a person that’s invested in his program (school), and teammates, doesn’t allow that to happen. I’m sure AR would point to 39 million reasons why I’m wrong. Also……venom?? How is it venomous to note things that are visibly obvious? If he didn’t play for his teammates at UF, AR is likely to display the same selfishness at the NFL level. It doesn’t bode well for his ability to lead, and/or win.
We don't insult Gator players. Current or former. Saying someone was selfish and that he played only "for a paycheck" and not for his team is one of the most insulting things that can be said about someone playing a team sport. Your opinions might be exactly right but they may also be exactly wrong because of other factors we don't know. Either way, as long as it's pure speculation, please tone it down and discuss factual observations. That's all. Thanks!
Way to go out on a limb and call him a bust after he suffers a season ending injury. You were noticeably absent from the Colts game threads when he was performing well tho LOL
I was calling “bust” before he ever started a game for the colts. I didn’t ever see the leadership it takes from AR to win at the NFL level.
Yet you were noticeably silent during his first couple of games, and magically popped up again once he’s declared out for the season. I’m guessing when he returns next season and plays well you’ll go ghost again LOL And the Colts brass saw plenty of leadership qualities in him, I bet his current and former teammates do too.
1. I bet you can’t recall me ever dragging a UF player. 2. I bet you can’t recall me ever being negative in a UF game thread. 3. I’ve never participated in any NFL game thread. 4. I don’t show up on any GC thread to disparage players or coaches, in general. 5. I should have found a better way to voice my opinion of AR. 6. I’ll take your bet on the “leadership” seen by former teammates.
Lmao…..Me, too! I love Too Hot. I’ve learned lots of great info over there. As for @orangeblue_coop , or @antny1 , I’m never going to have an issue with someone defending a UF player. I really should have found a better way to state my opinion.
Many feel the way you do about AR at times last year. He seems to be in his own world sometimes. But I actually watched parts of that FSU game last year and saw how much he played his heart out in that game. He definitely had his moments.
There were definitely moments, but I think that just reinforces the opinion that he wasn’t always all in. Where was all that effort in every other game? Even in that game, you only saw that real drive on a couple plays. While their skill set may have been questioned, nobody ever questioned the effort or drive of guys like Franks and Emory. Those guys gave us their all, and Graham is doing the same this year.
All good bro, we are all entitled to our own opinions. At the end of the day Gator success is all that counts.
I've been saying that for over 2 years. He's spent almost as much time in some medical contraption than playing time. That was against small players but now it's against the best of the best and the biggest of the biggest. This is his 3rd injury of the short season? As a scout, I would have warned GMs that nabbing him is bad money - better off getting him cheap in the 4th or 5th round. Love the young man, but he's going to be on the IR more than on the field for his entire, very short career.
