Being a resident and a voter in the 3rd district of Colorado currently 'represented' by Ms Gropebert, it's fun to report in certain circles she is risibly referred to as Lowrent Gropebert. Speculation is high "the girls" Ms Gropebert sports high on her chest were acquired with campaign funds.

She and Jayson Boebert finalized their divorce last week here in Grand Junction.

Oh yeah, Gropebert has been dropped from the list of speakers at the Texas Youth Summit.

Rep. Lauren Boebert dropped from Texas Youth Summit

Just days after announcing she would be speaking at a conservative youth summit, U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado) was nixed from the Texas conference.

Boebert was pulled from the speakers list for the Texas Youth Summit on Monday, September 18, according to an article published by TMZ. The youth summit is held outside of Houston and is aimed at countering “the effects of the Left” and “winning back the hearts and minds of our nation’s most precious resource,” according to the event website.

I’m saying I think she’s a complete idiot but 2 adults doing that doesn’t move the needle for me. It was a dark movie theatre and seemingly only person watching them was a low light camera. I can state without shame I’ve engaged in similar Behavior at the old movie theatre behind the old Outback( if either are still there in Gville ). I think the vaping is juvenile but also doesn’t move the needle for me. She’s isn’t my rep and I just don’t care what 2 consenting adults did with a total of 20 seconds of rub a dub dub on the outside of clothes. Compare that to basically any music video or WAP performance and it’s kindergarten.

I think the real issue here is her insane sense of entitlement. I don’t think she was ejected for the groping, that only came out after the fact on the video. She was ejected for vaping and being obnoxious. Generally trashy behavior.

She probably disrupted the enjoyment of the show for a bunch of people around her. Then on the way out gives the old “don’t you know who I am” routine along with flipping the bird.

I don’t think this is a unique phenomenon. The “f your feelings” is an actual slogan on the right, it’s also a slogan that implies this sort of deranged self-entitlement. Not that the right has a monopoly on assholes, but that hyper-entitled mentality just played out in the open in this instance.

I agreed with everything until your last paragraph. “Do you know who I am” act is abhorrent to me. In addition I can’t remember a thought process of F your feelings going on in my head. You feel
However you feel as I’m not responsible for that. How you feel about something is exactly that. How YOU feel. It certainly doesn’t dictate and may or may not alter my choices about how i handle a topic or interaction.

When we were kids and made out in the theater, it was in the back, not in the middle. Last I checked, they were supposed to be adults. Adults doing adult things should happen out of possible eyesight of children. We don't know who saw them and who didn't. It's disgusting, especially from someone who tries to put her morality out there.

Some on the right would agree with you but in a different context.

I went to the drive-in for such matters.
Also, never buy a van from a cop if you plan to park for privacy as his LE friends will stalk it, hit it with the lights and siren and start shaking it thinking they are playing a prank on their buddy. Kills the mood

You're totally ignoring the hypocrisy here. Were you a member of Congress preaching all over the place about Christian values at the time of your movie theater activities.?

    Celebration Time!!!

Ms Lowrent Gropebert has discovered she is not as popular in District 3 as she once was, so is moving on to district 4, east of Denver. The district is a Republican stronghold and the current congressman, Ken Buck is retiring. it seems she will not be forced into a primary.

Correction - there will be a primary and the field has six other candidates.
Lauren Boebert, Far-Right Firebrand, Is Switching House Districts in Colorado
The other Republicans running in the primary to replace Mr. Buck include two former state senators, Ted Harvey and Jerry Sonnenberg; Richard Holtorf, a state representative; Trent Leisy, a Navy veteran and business owner; and Deborah Flora, a radio host.

Mr. Leisy asserted on social media soon after Ms. Boebert’s announcement that she was giving Democrats an advantage in the race for her current district by making the switch.

“Lauren should be a fighter and keep her district red,” Mr. Leisy said, adding that he was “running in a district that I actually live in.”

    --------------------------------

Unfortunately Republicans in District 3 will have no problem finding another extremist candidate like her to fill her shoes. She is widely and personally disapproved because of her behavior at the Beetlejuice musical, but her views and boldness are very much approved in ultra right circles in our part of Colorado.

What a weird district. How did they manage to include Loveland but not Greeley? Looks like @docspor is just missing out on the Boebert fun since Ft Collins is just outside the 4th.

And in Colorado, as in some other states, she does not have to actually reside in the district amongst the people she is supposed to represent.

She still has to win the Republican primary although Colorado's 4th Congressional District is so far to the right that the Republican nominee whomever it is would be a lock to win the general election. Just a guess I suspect that the other candidates all of whom are residents of the district will immediately denounce her as a carpetbagger. I also suspect that her display at the showing of Beetlejuice will not play very well among the religious conservative voters in the primary.
