I may have no idea, but the results speak for themselves with this defense. If the scheme doesn't change by ga. then this defense will be taken to the woodshed.
You don't know what scheme is currently being used let alone have a viable proposal for what should be done. That aside, it is true that UGA presents a challenge. Hopefully lessons have been learned from the UK/SCAR experiences where the defense struggled.
Ball licking aside, I know they'll be at their best against us. But...not so fast, will it make any difference? If you watch any of their games Bowers is a huge part of their offense. I mean a huge part. Like the biggest clutch they have. Guy's a monster, hero, Captain America guy. Geeze. Here's my take...if all these teams scored all these points on Georgia, how good can their defense really be? I don't see shutouts against USCe or Vandy. I mean they have to be good, but they are vulnerable. So are we. But this is why we play the game. Our defensive Coordinator needs to do his homework. We need to tackle and play solid "D". It would sure be nice if Armstrong could draw up some plays to get their QB. Like throw a dogbone for distraction and then sneak in! We need to be able to start fast, and rush the ball well. And in this game, we'll have to protect Mertz. Mertz needs to hit his targets and needs some time. Years prior we looked pretty awful coming into this game. They've beat us by 20+ for years. We got one monkey off our back... Go Gators.

We need a ball hawk in the secondary desperately. Marshall and Kimber are good solid DBs but almost fever break on the ball. Castell is still learning and going to be great. I love Hill. Just need a raw athlete to make some plays. Are we sure Kamari can’t turn it around?
