Not to mention the low down, no good, two-bit, flea-ridden, hairy-toothed, mungy, gerbil-jammin, butt-sniffin, crotch rotten, scum-suckin, scab bitin, worthless, skanky, scudsy, sphincter cheese, monkey spankin, barrells of goat piss from the crack of an elephant's a$$!
Probably true. Too many shortcomings on defense (poor job covering the flats and slants) and now Bower injury. Wouldn’t surprise me to see this team drop 1-2 games. Guess I’ll have to live with past glory…
It's wild to think after 7 games we are still in control of our path to the SECCG regardless of how likely it is, Beat UGA,Mizzou, lsu and arky and we in for sure regardless if we beat FSU or not.
Like I said earlier, if we had Copeland and Curry from bama's 92 team we could run the 3 down guys. But we don't. We have speed at the safety and back position so why not use the base 4 3 4 ? I think this team would have a better defense stat wise especially in the sack department.
Since people keep saying this stuff about three down guys, specify: What is our current lineup and what is it you are claiming is better?
I think our tackling problems are due to the youth in our 2 Deep, which leads to a lack of physicality which comes with maturity. I'm pleased that they at least get in the opponents' way. When they know where they are supposed to be every play and have the physicality that comes with maturing, they're going to be very good.
We can win the Georgia game. Mertz is better than Beck our WRs are better with Wilson coming on. Our OL is key if they play well we will win if not we lose. We do need 2 TOs and play well on ST.
I wouldn't have done that, because then I would have run out of insults all at once. I would want to parcel them out more slowly.
We can win the Georgia game but we are solid underdogs. I expect our team this year to take 2 steps forward, 1 step back. It would be great if we can beat the Mutts, however I won't view it as a failure if we don't (not for this team this year). USCE was a big game for us, hopefully the whole gator nation that we are heading in the right direction. Georgia will be a tall task for us as they will be primed for the game. Hopefully we will also be ready. I hope for the best but let's all not get ahead of our skis
If we somehow did beat Georgia, (I would love it but don’t think our defense will hold up), but if we did, do you guys think the team has the emotional maturity to stay focused and not drop the next game? We saw what happened after Tennessee, even against charlotte, we looked flat. how quickly does that maturity happen? Do they learn how to focus quickly or does it evolve from season to season with growth. And hopefully you are fielding a team of seniors and juniors who have that steady hand to know how to go about it? Just wondering , we are such a young team, but would a big win like that focus the team or would then the pressure start to build and cause cracks.
I'd happily take beating UGA and dropping the next game. But, the next game is Arky at home, and I just don't see the team coming out flat at home after beating UGA
I feel like we legitimately have a 35% chance of winning, but if we lose it’s a 90% chance that it’s a blowout.
One would imagine they had some self reflection after the Charlotte game to not let it happen again. At the very least the coaches have those two games to show as proof to get them refocused
