Well, if the assassins, whoever they were, wanted to send a clear message, were out for blood, eye for eye and tooth for tooth, or whatever, slipping the man some poison was not the way to do it. It was shock and awe in Dallas. Hey, and that sure looks like E. Howard Hunt in that photo walking across Elm in a trench coat right after the shooting. But can't blame him for being curious about what happened.
I guess advertising works, companies spend millions on it, but looking back on all the Travis Kelce commercials that I've been hit with while watching football, I can't tell you a single thing that he was selling, other than Travis Kelce.
Had a brief interaction w Kelce and Mahomes while golfing in Scottsdale last year. Limited exposure for sure, but both seemed like really good guys. Certainly can't begrudge them taking advantage of whatever opportunites present themselves. Those stars generally burn out fast, should strike while they can
To be fair, the NFL has been a lot less full-frontal about it than has the NBA and MLB. That’s just based on my personal estimations and observations. MLB ripped away an All-Star game from a city and team whom had absolutely zilch to do with the Georgia legislature updating their post-Covid voting laws…but karma’s a bitch and the Braves would roll on to win the World Series that year. I thoroughly enjoyed every single Patriots Super Bowl win after they made a big deal about Brady having a MAGA hat in his locker. And I will love it when the Dolphins or Jags put the Chiefs out this year.
The "commissioners" in these leagues have far too much power and authority... They, and that set-up, are the problem... and with each changing "dictator" their league can change over night. We should never let one person ever be placed in power over the entire college football world. And I think we also should get rid of Sankey in the process. He's too comfortable tying the SEC to Disney... and now Pfizer is pimping their drugs to all over the SEC world and fans-base becasue of the Disney/ABC/ESPN network's wokeness.
Ah. So all that means is, to kill JFK in the street with a wacky and uncertain method, the CIA just got permission from Dean Rusk since JFK was unlikely to grant it.
That’s a dilemma, then. So how would the CIA get JFK to sign off on his own assassination? Maybe slip it into a random stack of orders between a requisition for more souvenir pens in the Oval Office and establishment of National Avocado Day? Supposedly, that’s how they got Queen Elizabeth I to sign the death warrant for Mary Queen of Scots.
A main story on Fox. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce leave 'SNL' after party together hand in hand, after surprise cameos
I really love the SNL sketch where all the Fox NFL commentators tried to act like it was the most ridiculous story in the world that no one should be interested in but couldn't stop talking about it and turned out to be secret Swifties. That was just funny
Waiting for him to do one where he goes, "I'm your mom's new boy toy. I love joyriding in your dad's Porsche 911 Turbo you let her add to your auto policies after he died."
Yes it is if the goal is to assassinate a relative of the president. But when an operation has such political ramifications, having to receive approval from more than 1 person is probably that better.
Who the heck watches commercials any more? I've gotten so used to not seeing them that even during a live sports broadcast, I pay them no attention.
