I’ve always thought Cocky is a pretty cool mascot. That thing they used to do with the cage at the beginning of the game was epic. Don’t know if they still do it or not, I haven’t watched them since Spurrier was there.

He was the Jets QB when I did my first tour in NY! Yes and no. I don’t think Mertz has a limp noodle for an arm though. I THINK his issue is more of not having the consistency of hitting receivers down field. In better words, I think he has the arm to make the throw, but I don’t think he has the reps to realize how fast Jean is streaking down the field. Or really anyone. I think he’s probably focused on making the short throws because in the past that’s what we needed out of him. We shall see

I think Rattler played well but do not agree USC is a quality team; I would not call them a good team this year. But, you can lose any game in the SEC on a given day, games on the road can be challenging if you are subpar.
But, no matter all of that, we went on the road and did not quit and persevered for the win. We kind of snatched victory out of the jaws of defeat!

Correct me if i’m wrong but our top 2 RB’s didn’t have a big yardage day but it FELT like their contributions were huge in the second half

 

Best post-game interview I’ve seen by Billy. “Can you believe they pay us to do this?!” The most I’ve ever seen him smile; natural and no coach speak. So exciting for the team, him and Gator nation! GO GATORS
