That was about the best finish I've seen since the 1st year of Mullen's tenure. And it wasn't easy. When Wilson caught the deflection I knew then we were destined for the win.

 

He would have made it a bit more interesting than Sean. But I was thinking in the 2nd half. I really like the candor and knowledge of Shane. I almost wish we could be an outlier and scrap the main announcer and go with two former players - one offense and one defense. We could team Shane with Batesy.

 

Is it wrong to post receipts from the game thread here? My favorite is the one that declared us a 4 win team mis second half

 

I have been saying since the Utah game- it’s the defense thats a big problem…inability to stop the gamecocks is surprising.

 

This SC team lost by 10 at Georgia. They are better than their record. This was a solid win.

 

None, no need to. Ebb and flows of the game and emotions that go along with it.

All I can say is Mertz haters can shut it. The young man is a fighter.

 

You will have to wait for the replay in a couple days. Pretty sure you won’t find out otherwise…and if really tuned out you might not deserve to find out.

I wouldn't put too much into that game. USCE vs Georgia is like UF vs FSU or Bama vs Auburn.
