Post #60 (and probably 25 other posts in this thread) are also off-topic, based on your declared topic. Have at it. :)

I think there’s also some language somewhere in the New Testament about believers “disappearing in the blink of an eye” or something like that. I believe that’s one of the places the interpretation of a Rapture comes from.

Just some more nonsense to keep us off-topic ;)

I'm a Trump hater like most normal educated Americans, but is there any evidence that the orange bastard leaked any Israeli secrets?

It's almost like Trump tried (successfully) to sabotage the situation.

You are asking the wrong question. “Leaking” is what people who are not authorized to disclose do or in cases that they don’t want others to know they are the source for social or professional reasons.

The President has the legal authority to disclose classified information in accordance with their judgment, and the assumption is that anyone we would elect has reasonable judgment. As I’ve said upthread, if the President as alleged gave intelligence to Russia about ISIS intentions, then that’s a reasonable judgment since at the time (2017) we were cooperating with Russia against ISIS. If, as also alleged, he gave Russia insight as to the Israeli human source and compromised the safety and security of that source, then that shows very poor judgment, and people are right to hold him accountable politically.

What all sources seem to agree, though, is that the disclosure had nothing to do with the present situation in Israel. In that sense, it’s just a distraction.

I tend to agree that it was extremely unlikely that Trump's disclosure of classified information to Russia played any role in the success of the Hamas attack on Israel. That being said it's not beyond the realm of possibility that Russia shared the highly classified information that Trump provided with Iran and while not technically a leak or even illegal given his authority as POTUS Trump's decision to share information originally sourced through Israel (or any classified information for that matter) was extremely irresponsible.

No issue with that. Calling it “irresponsible” would be very generous indeed. And not even close to the top of his list.
