Great news for the Anzalone family, and great news for all the other families that get to come home. Still praying for the victims in that heinous attack.
Happy to know the Anzalone family is safe and sound. My heart goes out to all Why can't we get linebackers like Alex anymore.
Alex was OK for UF, was plagued by injuries early on, but worked hard to give it his all. He was a part of a great linebacker class (on paper) that included Anzalone (rated 5*, #32 overall) daniel McMillian(rated 4*,#44 overall) Matt Rolin(rated 4*, #161 overall) and the lowest rated recruit Jarrad Davis rated(3*,not ranked nationally) who ended up bei g the best of the bunch. I'd take 4 more Jarrad Davis's cause man he was good from sideline to sideline. Talk about an underrated player playing above his eval.
Anzalone was fantastic when he was playing which unfortunately wasn't as much as I would have liked because he was hurt so often.
