Based on your posts you have zero empathy anyway so its not a surprise you dont know what it means. Empathy involves feeling what someone else feels. Sympathy involves understanding someone else's emotions but from your own perspective. Maybe you understand how Israeli's or Palestinians feel right now (fat chance) but I dont. I just know it's pretty tragic for Israeli's and likely to get very bad for the Palestinians so they all have my sympathies.

I pointed out multiple actual occurrences of ppl and/or groups who celebrated this-'THIS--atrocity.

First in the Sasse thread to defend my assertion that his statement stood out and was refreshing, precisely because of these types of actual occurrences--I even conceded that his statement should have been no big deal, as pretty much common sense.

I reposted them here, bc it occurred to me that many here might be oblivious to these actual overt public declarations of support "for Palestine", in the wake of this atrocity--not by coincidence, but expressly because of it. Especially with the whole "resistance day" stuff.

That that served as an indictment to the Left, was not my doing.

They did this themselves, the Dem party and Harvard pres, and many others, have had to create distance from their own as a result.

(You getting defensive about all that, is actually pretty funny...).
