You saying that to me is pretty rich.

I can't come close to hating anyone as deeply as y'all hate all things Trump.

I think Biden is a corrupt incompetent senile buffoon, yes, but I don't dwell on his every move and equate all things Biden with evil itself (which I realize is mostly the rest of this board, not necessarily you--but you do take my non-worship of Biden as a personal affront to you, b/c you are THE CAPTAIN of the Joe Biden Cheerleading squad in this sub-forum).

    That's what's got you going.

What got me going? Start with the inhuman atrocities that this thread is about--which means Hamas invading Israel, killing over a 1,000, beheading babies, raping women, and then taking hundreds hostage to Gaza...

...then seeing and reading assholes try to spin that, like Israel deserved it, it's justice, etc. etc.

But whatever. Shalom bro. Have nice day.

Which link are you referring to? Not necessarily disputing it, I haven't seen any such flier.

    Speaking of Trump:

What do you think of Trump just now calling out Netanyahu directly, making the attack about himself, and describing Hezbollah terrorists as “very smart”.

Perhaps the “hate” is well earned.

    Sympathy is implied pity.
It’s over your head and I’m not surprised. You were trying to empathize. But you can’t do that either because you’re a condescending libbie who is unaware how much you look down your nose at others.
    Sad but true.

When we pity someone, we feel sorry for them. That means we are distancing ourselves from the person in need.
That’s not the same as empathy now is it? The difference can seem small but it’s not. Understanding the difference goes a long way to really helping people who are in distress.

Billboard in Israel. They know who supports them and will stand with them. Meanwhile Trump adds “Hummus” (Hamas) to his list of terrorist groups he supports.

The part about Netanyahu was Monday morning qbing. Saying Bibi was unprepared is not very productive; perhaps even counter productive at this early juncture, and like all things Trump, self-serving. But it hardly rises to the level of celebrating the attack as the birth of some great day and labling it "Resistence Day!"

The part about Hezbollah--calling them smart, isn't "praising", as you're article suggested--it's respecting the ability of a foe. To illustrate--was Obama dismissing Isis as "the JV" somehow productive? Had he respected their ability more, and conceded that they're smart, or crafty MFo's or so...would you have called that "praising" ISIS?

So that's what you call 'earning hate'? Maybe distasteful, arbuably inaccurate, not worthy of praise (I've certainly not praised him), but hate?

To me, the hate was earned by Hamas...and albeit to a significantly lesser extent, by those who openly celebrated (and/or celebrate) the atrocity.

^^^as a side note--this reflects what I've stated many times before--I am a Trump apologist around here by default, due to the incessant attacks on him. Had I been a proponent, I would have chimed in far earlier, and invoked Trump as the solution to the problem, or how this wouldn't happen under Trump, or such...

Almost certainly an attempt to stop shipments from Iran to Hezbollah. Part of the reason Iran went in so heavy to protect Assad is that with Iraq now Shiite, the crescent supply route would be severed if the Assad government fell. Plenty of prior interdictions by Israelis in prior years, just heightened media awareness now

Bit more complex (in that area, also British French rivalry and Britain routes to India). But not wrong

Huh? I have read every post in a 64 page thread and can't recall any acceptance of Hamas or that it needs to exist. There rightfully is discussion on how to proceed, and there is back and forth on Hamas vs Palestinians as a whole. But "Hamas" is pretty much 100% blamed by everyone regarding these events and must be addressed firmly.

Seems the board is splitting into two factions:

The "kill them all" do whatever you want to them faction, and those that point out there are two sides to the story.

I don't care which side anyone is on.

What will happen is death and destruction on a higher, more devastating scale, as evidenced by news reports from the field right now.

Most of the people that die will not be combatants or the scum politicians / clerics that created this fiasco.

Most people that suffer will not be combatants or the scum politicians / clerics that created this fiasco.

There are no winners in this, just the lies that both sides shall spin to keep the leadership(s) in power and the mind numbingly STUPID continuation of cultural policies of murder, intolerance and mayhem, by two cultures that refuse to cooperate in a social compact.

I don't give a crap about the religious justifications for this insanity other than to say they are both equally stupid in those belief systems, if this is the end result.

This is EXACTLY, the witches brew of religion fueled insanity that can perpetuate murder and intolerance for millenia.

It IS NOT, a good look for our species.

Israel has been hitting IRG assets in Syria for years. This may have nothing to do with Hamas
