As much as I support Napier UF must show up ready to play, show up like for KY ...... just get back on the plane. I can take a loss, what is unacceptable is to not show up ready to go. I accept UF will make mistakes and the transition back to being a competitive SEC program may not be quick and will experience difficulties. But 19 games in let's see max effort and the willingness to compete. All I ask. ....... Well and GREAT recruiting.
Truth. Gator Nation doesn't care about notably tough schedules. They think EVERY year is a tough schedule.
Well back when Urban and Billy were playing one on one basketball in Billys back yard .................... (comparing national titles) I think that was true. While I and many others do care about the many sports that UF plays and CONTINUE to be very successful at, I don't think the rest of the SEC gets penis envy over track, gymnastics and womens vollyball.
Well, not all schedules are equally tough, but using a particularly tough schedule as an excuse is never acceptable. Going back to the 90s, number of three loss/tie opponents: 1990: 1 1991: 6 1992: 4 1993: 4 1994: 4 1995: 3 1996: 5 1997: 6 1998: 3 1999: 5 2000: 2 (seven 4-loss teams, though) 2001: 4 2002: 3 2003: 7 2004: 5 2005: 3 2006: 3 2007: 2 2008: 3 2009: 2 2010: 2 2011: 3 2012: 6 2013: 4 2014: 4 2015: 6 2016: 2 2017: 1 2018: 4 2019: 2 2020: 4 2021: 3 2022: 4 All schedules aren't created equal, and if our team had a poor record with a weaker schedule, it was really bad (2017 going 4-7 with only one strong opponent). In 2012, however, we went 11-2 with a very strong schedule...
7-5? Still means five of those teams are better than us. Hoping that’s the floor next year as we take another step forward. All those teams are trying to win also. This isn’t an fsu schedule
Very true but bear Bryant wouldn’t do much either. SEC again graces UF schedule. Amazing, but truthfully with the new teams coming in it’s hard to hide . Nobody comes close to our out of conference schedule.

It's a gauntlet, at least looking at it right now. I'm putting hopes toward UF improving this year, getting the recruiting class signed and continuing to work the Transfer Portal. Mertz and Lagway might be a decent QB room.
Our coach doesn’t go so conservative that we don’t pass enough to get the running game some lanes. On the road again, keep mixing it up and don’t start slow!
