This is an important conference game for both squads! The (2-3) Gamecocks, at home, are 2 pt. favs. against the visiting (4-2) Gators. Road games in the SEC are very challenging, so Florida will have to minimize the typical infractions that have plagued them in their previous road games this season. False starts being the main culprit. Hopefully the Gator offense can build on some of the improvement we saw in last week's win over Vandy. I had this a dub all offseason/regular season. I think SC stinks like a— and s—t. I’ll say Rattler seems to finally gained some consistency and Leggette is legit outside. Gotta control Rattler and stop their run game. No reason we cannot win but we need to play clean. When SOS was coach we were the most penalized team in the league but won anyway...just saying.
It's hard to start fast on the road against a team with a bye, but I think we weather the early storm, play with intensity and discipline and get the W. The SC special teams is what scares me if we are unprepared/undisciplined there, but overall this should be a good matchup for UF. Gators 31 SC 24 (17 against the D, 7 on special teams).
