And nobody knew this ahead of time? Just like nobody knew Iran would make us look like fools with the release of the $6 billion or that they wouldn’t act in good faith with the nuclear deal? Do you believe a group like Hamas felt more empowered when Donald Trump killed Soleimani or do you think they felt more constricted? Did Trump’s taking out Soleimani cause a massive Arab uprising? Did President Trump’s cancellation of the Iranian nuclear deal make the world a less safe place? These are all very valid questions at the present, regardless of your feelings on Donald Trump.

 

I am aware of all that and that is the major weakness in his reasoning. But he's a morally serious very knowledgeable individual if you read them regularly. It doesn't do him justice just to look at that

They might as well tell Israel to pack its bags and we will create a safe space for them somewhere in central Europe, or western Europe, or somewhere like that. We’ll give them the same territorial sovereignty they have now, without the constant worry of terror and/or invasions. I feel like that’s kind of inevitable with the current trajectory of global politics over the past 20 years or so.

The only way Hamas stops is Israel leaves the region, which isn’t going to happen, or Hamas gets decimated to the point of non viability.

Is it reasonable to expect the occupied not to resist their occupier? Tell them to commit to non violence when that has failed and been met with state violence? We may be talking past each other here. If the post really was BLM, which I assumed, because some of the leaders are that stupid, thus my snarky sarcastic response. However upon reflection it is probably more likely it is someone pretending to be BLM.
