You guys. I guess you are just posting your feelings. I dont expect Israel to indiscriminately kill people but instead target Hamas. The hostage situation makes it harder. This is likely going to be the beginning of a very long campaign, sadly, without a quick strike fix.

just those who choose to support hamas or are members of it. that isn't the entire country.

    what would be your solution?

Which is why Israel does what it can to try and warn Palestinians as to what's coming and Hamas pressures them to stay put. Israel cares more about Palestinian lives than Hamas and Israel bends over backwards to save Palestinian lives.

That is why any blood spilt in Gaza after last week is 100% on Hamas. What happens next is simply what needs to be done.

There are two ethical stances in this conflict and only two:
    1. Help Israel
    2. Get the Hell out of their way

Hi mutz, I find your post a bit encouraging as compared to the:

    "Just kill them All".

I am under no illusions and expect the absolute worst from both sides. I don't pray because I don't believe in any of that stuff, but Benny is going to unleash the full might of Israeli power projection on Gaza.

No water, no electricity and all supplies cut off? Think 1941 - 1943 Lenningrad. (Without the Ice Road)

Many innocents will die. In fact most of those that die will have little to do with Oct. 7th.

And while Palestinian deaths will be horrible, think of the toll on the Jewish soldier that is expected to perform their cruel duty.

The consequences will show that anything would be better than what is to come. This is what FAILURE on geo-political fronts look like when given the extra fuel of religous intolerance.

I think any hope of the Israeli / Saudi Rapprochmant is over.

This will turn into the Yahweh vs Alah and Muhommad show.
Total conflaguration, and I am not sure Benny won't use nukes.

No Middle Eastern country that pretends to follow the Koran will be able to stomach what is about to happen to HAMAS and the Palestinians in Gaza.
I forsee Hundreds of Thousands of Deaths and concentration camps being set up.

This is going to get UGLY!

Israel has already given them more than Hamas (who was democratically elected by the Palestinian people) gave Israel, and will continue to give them more.

This is a very difficult ethical question IMO. What are your thoughts on capital punishment?

Edit: The difficult ethical question I am referring to here is Israel's response to the decades of violence against them. Does Israel simply have to accept the status quo of living in a perpetual never ending cycle of massacre after massacre? Or does Israel have the right to do what is necessary to secure peace for its people?

We care about war crimes all of a sudden?

Bring down the hammer on Hamas then maybe we can talk about Israel.

Israel is about to deliver something alright, DEATH in huge doses.
Not saying HAMAS does not have it coming but Benny is seeing red right now and I don't think Jewish focus will revolve much on humanitarian considerations.

Self defense meeting human shields used by Hamas will never be evil on the side defending itself. It is one of the worst kinds of evil on the part of Hamas.

Never let the wokescold tell you otherwise.

If we are equating people to their chosen rulers, why are you supporting Israel?

They already are. They're warning Palestinians to leave. When they bomb high rises, they give a warning shot to make sure people evacuate the building... and Hamas keeps them inside because they want the photo op of dead Palestinian bodies under a building.

    They're disgusting.

How do you 'bring down the hammer' on stateless people? Did we learn nothing from the "war on terror?" It seems we didnt after multiple failed wars.

The point is that Israel deserves credit for already being infinitely more graceful with the people of Palestine than Hamas is with its own people.

The "war on terror" hits a little different when it's at your front door and all of your neighbors would rather die than have you continue to live. That is exactly the case with Israel.

Not raping innocent women and kidnapping innocent children. I'll tell you that much.

Not beheading someone as they're dying and parading the mutilated bodies around Israel celebrating.
