Thanks melrose. Not sure if this was directed toward me or @wingtee. If to me, then thanks! If to wing, then I agree and would happily join in on the drink!
You don't drink? Based on some of your posts, I assumed that you were inebriated. I'm just kidding. No, I'm not. Yes I am.
Well, Wing. I respect the fact that you are at least willing to reflect. But, honestly, I am 70 and reading what you are saying hurts my heart. Many of those students stay in the USA and if we don't want our asses kicked we best do a better job ourselves. Everything that exists is stardust. ALL DNA is made up of the same 4 pieces. Expand your family to embrace it all and the world is a beautiful place.
Never even have had a beer in my life. Now I did do plenty of smoking growing up till around 55. Now just high on life and my 8 dogs.(rescue)
My HS girls lacrosse team has more players of color than the other schools combined. This year we reached out to ESL students. Today, optional practice, I drove past two of them walking home. 2 miles. Gave them a ride, but taught me a lesson about hard work.
I could not get back on under my username. So I am now going by pigpen. Hope I can do this. Looking forward to schooling you in basketball Again soon. I was off for awhile
Yeah does not seem likely. I drank for first time when I turned 18 in the service. Some guys got me drunk as heck. Then once in awhile I would have a drink but did not enjoy it. So just became a pot head. So have drank just not in 30 or so years.
anyone else not excited by the young 7'6 guy? Nothing personal, I just wonder about a lot of things with that much height at that young of an age. I would take a Vanover clone, but I honestly (with full disclosure, not watched any video of the kid yet) don't know if that's the guy we need to hitch our wagon to for recruiting..
I've seen a lot of video on him and personally think he's worth the risk, but yes anyone that height will have their challenges to stay healthy
the health thing is always a big beacon of concern for guys that big that young. He's athletically built, not a 7'6 tank like some guys that have passed through NCAA hoops. Hopefully he finds a good place to play ball.
