I’m surprised many indirectly seem supportive of this attack. I can see having a debate on empathy for Palestinian citizens. Gaza has one of the highest population densities in the world and dirt poor. But what we saw is mass murder and rape of Israeli young civilians. Hamas lowered their automatic weapons and opened up on defenseless crowds. Why is there anyone who won’t call this out as abhorrent and these Hamas soldiers as savages?

 

The characterization that Israeli lives lost including women and children... and Israeli women being raped and Israeli children being kidnapped is a "win" for Netanyahu is a slimeball take.

 

Once again it's an observation based a political reality. Although it should have been obvious neither the original comment nor the analogy with W were intended as criticisms of either the Israeli Prime Minister or the American President and I do agree that both Bibi and W would have traded their political support if it would have undone the terrorist attacks.

 

I don’t think anyone is disputing that.

 

What I have found really repugnant are the demonstrations in the US in support of the Palestinians. While Palestinians the people and Hamas, the terrorist organization and not synonymous and criticism of the Israeli government with respect to its treatment of Palestinians is valid, the timing of the demonstrations represents at least implicit support/justification for the barbarism of Hamas.
