I so want to see the movie even though Rotten Tomatoes didn't give it a very good aggregate review. It's still at $20 to rent and I'm trying to wait till it goes down to the $7 range.

And, seeing the murderous savagery caught on videos of what Hamas did to civilians and military alike, causes me to support even Netanyahu to respond in a way that this will not be repeated in the future.

 

He was also prescient and prophetic in his comments he made at a conference last year. He warned against the very thing that has happened.

You can only exploit that vulnerability if you have the right weapons. Ukraine does. Hezbollah probably does not.

 

And this was done almost immediately after Turkey made the formal announcement that it supports and will defend the Palestinian people and demanded the US “back-off.” This is really a tense time.

 

They did it in plain view. Israeli intelligence thought it was posturing and did not take the threat serious. Gaza was doing well, economically speaking. So well that Israeli military had just shuffled personnel to other more troubled spots.

I’m seeing a couple of these articles come out, and this early just feels like total speculation. There is going to be a full investigation that includes the “voluntary testimony” of some reformed Hamas members being captured on the battlefield as we speak. Until all of the pieces are put together, anyone can guess at how Hamas pulled this off.
