Bordingham was unstoppable today. Love that kid. Big, good hands. Mertz was accurate.

Not to be Debbie downer here, but I'm wondering if Mertz can actually throw the deep ball with any accuracy? He sure is accurate and has a nice touch on the short and medium stuff.

Anyway, a deep ball and catch would be nice, on occasion.

Great Game. Great seeing some of these youngin's get up to speed. We got some weapons and they're just getting started.

Here at the game. I think the lack of deep threat has more to do with Mertz than Napier. He seems to have a hard time with hitting receivers in stride regardless of depth.

I don’t remember a bell in the stadium and I was at every game ‘80 thru ‘86. I was drunk most games,though,so I coulda missed it. Is the announcer remembering a different stadium?
