I don't think drink coffee. Whether or not smoking is illegal really doesn't matter. It's deadly. It's a bad choice. If you want to kill yourself with cigarettes, that's your choice. If somebody else wants to kill themselves with drug dependency, that's their choice. Neither should be illegal.

About 20 years ago I stopped associating with the ash tray types who were trying to give me cancer and otherwise driving the costs of my health ins up. Really thoughtless tools IMHO. The best thing America has done is recent history is the shaming of smokers. Don’t have to deal with them in bars and have fun laughing at them in smoker rooms at the airport or huddled outside work. My work place is a smoke free campus so they can’t even do that. Full disclosure I have drunk to excess done an eight ball and fornicated with several women and later passed out next to them. it’s always a red flag when someone says “well at least smoking isn’t as <insert addiction>” I bet most here have been to a funeral or two because of direct results of smoking.
