By: Nick Marcinko -- October 2, 2023 Freshman receiver Andy Jean is set to have an increased role after sophomore WR Caleb Douglas suffered a lower body injury that will sideline him for 4-6 weeks. After not playing in the Gators’ season opener against Utah, Jean appeared in three of Florida’s next four games, recording a career high 30 snaps against Kentucky in week five. Billy Napier credited Jean’s increase in playing time to his recent practice habits. Freshman receiver Andy Jean set for increased role following Douglas’ injury | GatorCountry.com
Use his speed Billy! Ditch the hitches and slow-developing drags. Make that boy run downfield and make people miss.
great opportunity for the young guy. Maybe put him in motion so our best WR can do what he does best and run routes and make highlight catches.
Am I incorrect in being under the assumption that Jean was not know for speed or shiftiness but for his elite route running? Not sure I get the suggestions in this thread but again, I don't claim to be an expert just going on what I've read
