Only went to Vandy once: last year. Cold, windy and a big fat L.

I can guarantee you a HOME LOSS TO VANDY is the nail in the coffin. No one can convince me any more time is needed if you lose to Vandy at home.

    Candy finished 8-4 in 1982.
The season was only 11 games (+ a bowl game) until about 92. Further to be bowl eligible a minimum 6-5 record was required. The philosophy was that a team could not end the season with a losing record.

For some reason, Vandy often plays the Gators tough.

The question isn’t really whether Florida will win—I mean, let’s face it, if it’s a loss Napier won’t likely finish out the season—the question is, will the team look competent in handling an opponent they should beat by three touchdowns. Any signs of poor discipline, lack of preparation, or that air of disengaged ennui on the field we’ve seen, the environment going forward is going to become so hostile Napier will just wish they’d just vote him off the island and be done with it..

Interesting fact: (On Shane M's Podcast)
Explosive Plays. Defined: 15 yards or more

    Vandy 36
    UF 18

    Vandy is 2 and 3
    Uf is 3 and 2

Not exactly confident UF is going to pound these guys. I will just be happy with a dub.

Is Vandy two TDs better than Charlotte? Let’s hope not.

Last few years have taught me not to underestimate anybody. Vandy can talk smack on us from last year.
    Nothing is a given.

First, I have no doubt the kids will play better Saturday so this will be moot; but, once again, despite what some hyperbolic posters claim, there will NOT be a coaching change this year at Florida.

Not back to back losses...(and last years was not just a loss but a pretty good domination)

Yesss! Was reading Sat Down South and they stated that we are the youngest team in the conference. 21 of 24 of our two deep are freshmen, Sophs or Redshirt Sophs. If that is true, that is stunning. Everybody just needs to settle down and let BN play out this year and next.

For crying out loud, we can’t change coaches every three years. There are numerous examples of coaches taking a few years to get it right. Harbaugh and Sark come to mind as the most obvious and now they are rolling. Stoops took longer than that and now he’s rolling too.

All this talk of firing BN is ridiculous. He’s building the foundation and he has upgraded the talent and changed the culture. Mullen left a mess. It’s just early. This isn’t 1990, 06 or 08. Those days are over. It isn’t even the same kind of game it was back then. Pipe down folks and let it play out.

“Wes Chandler was Percy Harvin before Percy Harvin was born.”
