I have most of the clowns blocked. Wasn't sure if you were referring to my post just above yours. I read it multiple times and couldn't find any spelling errors. lolz
Lots of these variables addressed in the article. Those that want to hang everything on obesity didn’t read the article.
I've posted the video before but the island of ikaria has one of the longest life expectancy based on their Mediterranean lifestyle. Biggest differences were eating whole foods of all kinds, burning calories through active daily activities like walking, hand making food and washing clothes, socializing at meal times, etc etc. They drink alcohol and some even smoke. Very little diabetes and dementia. No nursing homes, no mobility scooters everywhere. Basically, get back to basics.
I have had ibs for most of my life. I have been drinking about half a cup of kefir a day and almost all of my ibs symptoms have disappeared.
Sorry man 165 68”, nobody has ever confused me with being fat… It’s a fact the more obese/fat the sicker you are.
These work well for me after over a decade of ibs symptoms. I get them at publix Home - Gutzy Organic
In my reading I found that this or perhaps a fecal transplant were the two best treatment options. Glad this one worked.
Didn’t presume you were fat. But cultural distaste is at the root of the American habit of equating fat with poor health. It’s a bell curve with skinny and morbidly obese at greatest risk with the pleasingly plump at least risk. In fact, one study showed that female non-smokers 34.6 BMI (just short of morbidly obese) lived the longest.
You may “live longer” than some if your BMI is 34 (a crap way to look at fitness) but that doesn’t mean you are more healthy.
Well, if I’ve turned the debate from “people dying from being fat” to “fat people not necessarily healthier” … I die happy.
Seems more like hypersensitivity on your part. In fact, the succinct snark seemed right up your alley. Ida figured it was one of your posts, taken in isolation. Anyway, there IS a correlation btw obesity and ill health. But the thing is, is that obesity is much more a symptom--of eating shitty and living a sedentary life style--than a cause, in and of itself. But there IS that correlation.
Something is being difficult. Lol. It’s less than 3 dollars a bottle at Aldi or Walmart. Closer to 6 at Publix.
